CONSUMER BE AWARE: Community Federal Savings Bank. They are the backers of ********** prepaid debit card for kids, tweens and teens. The card bares Mastercard logo funded from a parent or guardians bank account. I tracked all this down because I am one of those parents that thought the ********** card sounded like a great idea to teach my kids how to use and manage a debit card versus cash. You can have up to 5 kids on the parents account, each with there own card. I have three and one of these children’s card has been a problem from the start. The first card child #3 came and with the very first purchase we started getting multiple charges. I canceled the card and re-ordered. This was a year ago and to date I have re-ordered the card 4-times and have to get a replacement card. ********** customer service has been farmed out to the Philippines who has very limited authority to resolve any complaints. Each time I call no one has any information as to where the card is. Their only recourse is to cancel the card and re-order again. Out of frustration, I discovered Community Federal Savings Bank is the financial backer for this Atlanta Ga owned “*******” company. The monthly fee for the ********** card ranges from $5 to $10. On top of all this injury, Community Federal Savings Bank has dummy phone numbers for non-existing departments. You can leave a message. The only option where you get a live person is the “operator” who will give you a US phone number that routes you back to the Philippines and your nightmare starts all over again. Community Federal Savings Bank has a physical address but there is no walk-in customer service. When you search for bank locations you given locations to ATM machines where you can conduct transactions. Beware Consumers !!

Community Federal Savings Bank (CFSB) takes complaints seriously and works to address the issues raised in an appropriate manner. CFSB received ********************* complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) regarding ********** account service issues. *******************************, **** (**********) acts as a service provider to CFSB and CFSB is the issuing bank for the ********** Prepaid Mastercard; therefore, we reached out to ********** for a full investigation regarding the complaint.After conducting their review, ********** informed CFSB that **************** issue has been resolved as of November 17, 2022. The card was activated, and the cardholder began making purchases on November 23, 2022. As per **********, it appears the root cause of the issue is associated with multiple address changes, some of which overlap with the card replacement process. ********** does partner with third parties to assist with customer service to help provide ************************ and better serve their customers. ********** apologizes for any confusion this has caused and hopes this resolution is satisfactory. Based on the response provided, CFSB considers this matter closed. Thank you!
