I want to start by saying that Shhhowercap makes a great product. Ive used one for years and love it. But ordering a new one has not been a good experience. I ordered a new Shhhowercap on January 16, 2025. Within a week or two after placing my order, they took their website down. I was trying to replace a shhhowercap I bought a few years earlier that I loved but had ripped. I needed a replacement quickly. When I saw that it hadnt been shipped by January 29 I sent an email. I was worried they were going out of business. I asked to either have my order shipped or please cancel and refund my money. I sent an email this morning (March 20, 2025) and I got a wishy washy boiler plate response. I dont know what else to do now other than make this complaint. $50 is not cheap. I sympathize that this company is woman owned and founded, and their legal troubles with Kitsch, but they should not be taking orders they cant fulfill. I personally know someone whose daughter was an advisor to the company for 7 years. I love my old Shhhowercap. I want to receive it. But if it cant be shipped in a timely manner I need a refund.Business Response

On 7.13.2022 I purchased a Shhhowercap for my mother for her birthday. The shower cap was not delivered and despite the company noting they would refund me, they did not. It was purchased for $43.70. Early on, they were responsive, noting it was coming but delayed, that the print I ordered was sold out and to choose another, and that they would refund me, though none of these things happen. I saw the business advertise around social media and reviewed the site to ensure I felt good about purchasing. The business was owned by a women in ********, I was hopeful to support a local business. I did not report this earlier because for 2 years I received notices that they had a business disruption, but it was coming (and to reply with my information-Which I did). Early on, they were responsive, but we had communication spanning *********, and I still have not received the product (or a refund)! The shipping was only supposed to take 5-8 days. today is March 4, 2025 and I still have not received any update about my order. I placed my order online on December 8, 2024. When my order did not ship according to the companys guidelines on their website, I contacted the company via email. I stated that my order had not been shipped and asked for insight on my order and why it was delayed. I received several emails back, but none actually helping to resolve my problem or stating when my order would be shipped. It has now been 2 months and I have not received my order. The company has shut down their website, so I messaged their account on Instagram requesting to cancel my order and receive a refund. They quickly responded saying they issued my refund and that they would re-order my product. I paid $46 for the product via ****** because my credit card would not work on their website. I should have foreseen this company as a scam solely from that. I can see the refund pending in my ****** account, but the company has still not issued the refund and it has been pending since 1/29/25. I am very unhappy and would like to report this business so that others are not scammed and hopefully I can receive my refund. They are very quick to respond, but not actually resolve issues. I'm submitting this complaint on behalf of *************. This was meant to be a Birthday/Christmas gift from my parents. They ordered it on December 10, 2024 and paid a total of $79.45 for one (1) shower cap. My mom ****** and my dad Israel both emailed the Shhhowercap company on several different occasions requesting a refund and have yet to receive said refund to date. As of today, January 30, 2025, no refund has been issued AND the company's website is down. It's really disappointing that my parents haven't received their money back given the fact that they (1) have communicated they have not received the item on my behalf, (2) haven't received the refund they requested, and (3) it's been almost two months to date without any resolution. I have ordered shower caps from this company in the past with absolute no issues, and have really enjoyed the product. I hate that this has been a stress for my loving, hardworking parents. I have placed an order for shhhowercap on their website on December 1, 2024. The order was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks. Four weeks later I sent my first email asking the team regarding the status of my order. This request has never been responded to. I continued to email to the customer service team several times as well as left comments on their Instagram account. Only once I received an email response from someone on the customer service team apologizing for frustrating experience and promising to pass my request to the team. There has never been another follow up or response from shhhowercap. I placed an order on 12/12/24 and was shown expected delivery of 5-7 days. On 12/19 I had not received any tracking/shipment information and contacted company. Was told shipping would be by 12/31 and since this was a Christmas gift I asked for a refund. I have never received any information since 12/19.
