I purchased a boat for $37000 from United Motors Garage that I never received. I have filed IC3 report, local police report, FTC.Gov report, fraud reports with the bank due to the day the boat was to ship the entire site/email/phone went down and obviously received no boat. The account was cleared out with my wire transfer. I believe I have found the new business operating the same scam due to receiving the exact Hull ID #, Serial # for the Motor and VIN for the trailer recently from Local Motors Group. The business logo is the same, the original email is the same, the process is the same, the boat information is the same. They are banking now with ***** fargo instead of chase in NY right down the street from the original bank I wired money to. I want them to be caught and feel they are ruining people's lives and should be treated as the criminals they are. I have attached my **** of sale from United Motors Garage. I have attached my **** of sale from Local Motors Group with a fake name. (SAME BOAT INFO). I paid for a vessel that I never received and a new business is selling it. Date of transaction: 10 Sep 2021 Was trying to purchase a boat online from United Motors Garage. Was told they would deliver the boat to my house. The sent me a **** of sale for the boat then reported the boat damaged in shipment and promised to return my money which was wired to their ***** ********** Account.They have never refunded my money and i have lost $26,000.00.I attempted t o have the wired money recalled but the ***** ********** said the seller refused to return my money. So i no boat and i am out 26K.Initial Complaint

I purchased a boat from this company using a secure wire transfer I have the bill of sale the confirmation with emails on transaction and shipping information. The day it was suppose to arrive we received emails it was not on time and from there we have many emails explaining refund etc and now the company after getting both banks involved has shut off communication. The stole 17,000 from me and do not intend to return it I have not received any product I have not received communication and they will not even speak with bank. They drained the account that the money was delivered to and continue to stay open ripping people off. I am both embarrassed and ashamed I fell for a scam but all things were according. Please help me get that money back I’m a single mom of two and they drained me with no reason behind it other than stealing m. This company should be shut down and people should be investigated and arrested for fraud.Customer response

I paid $25,800.00 to United Motors Garage LLC (***) for a boat that I never received. *** had told me that the truck that was to deliver the boat was involved in an accident and that they were going to refund me the money that I wired ***. That has never happened. *** has stopped answering my calls, do not return my e-mails, and do not answer the chats at the *** website anymore.
