I have asked, begged and demanded that Fairy Godboss remove my email from their list. I even sent a letter by US MAIL! Im 58 and retired and I dont need or want their emails. I never signed up. They literally email me at least once every day. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD delete my email!!!!Initial Complaint

STOP THE EMAILS!!!! Like many others, I can NOT get these emails to stop. This is illegal, but I don't have the time or money to **** I have unsubscribed, I have put in spam, I have flagged - yet there it is daily, if not multiple times a day. Fairygodbless is the problem. I want your emails removed from my account. They are the most obnoxious, useless, relentless emails of everything I get. Ive tried multiple times to have them removed. The emails are incessant. I saw online that you can stop the emails from coming in your settings so I opted to turn all future notifications off last week. I was still receiving emails even though I had changed the settings so I checked online how to deactivate my account. The only way listed was to email them at ******************************* and ask for it to be deleted and it should take between 48 and 72 hours. It has now been seven days in total and I am still receiving emails, I have even gone as far as to try and block them as a sender and the emails still continue to come. I checked my account on their site and it is still up and the email settings are still turned to "off".Business response

Our users have the option to unsubscribe from all emails and deactivate their account entirely on our platform.
To deactivate your Fairygodboss account and no longer receive emails from Fairygodboss, please email ******************************* for support. Your request will be processed within ***** hours. Deactivating your account means you will no longer have access to any of the reviews, job alerts, webinars, virtual career fairs and most articles, nor will you be able to share/post messages to anyone else in our Community.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I have already done this and waited more than 72 hours for my account to be deactivated. I have already emailed that email address which I stated in my statement. My notifications for email have been turned off yet I still receive them. Whoever is working behind that provided email is doing nothing and it's not surprising seeing as there are so many complaints about trying to deactivate accounts.

It is impossible to unsubscribe from emails from this company-Fairygodboss - without logging in to an account which I do not recall setting up. Or they are trying to gather ****** id or ******** info from me in the log-in process. FCC will be notified next if this is not stopped.Business response

Any Fairygodboss member may opt out of Fairygodboss emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us at ******************************** Fairygodboss members can also update their email preferences at any time by logging in and updating their email settings. Fairygodboss members also can deactivate their account entirely by contacting ******************************* for support. Each deactivation request is processed within ***** hours and unsubscribes the account email address from all Fairygodboss emails. All Fairygodboss members can find this information on our website under our Privacy Policy. I never subscribed to any communications from this website. They have been spamming me 4-5 messages every day. I have repeatedly unsubscribed, it doesnt matter. Ive complained to cloud flare - they dont care.Ive now created a rule to automatically put their **** in the trash folder. People who engage in this type of behavior are predators.
