In April of this year I asked the owner via email to send me a new envelope to send the rented books back. When I didn't hear back after several attempts, I emailed her to cancel my membership. When I didn't get a response I subsequently called and left several messages, texted and continued to email, all to no avail. And my card on file is still being charged to this day every month. I have asked the credit card company to put a stop payment order which they have attempted to do, but my card is still being charged.Customer response

Like the other person who has filed a complaint I have been asking to have my subscription canceled for the last month with no response from the company. On February 22, 2023 I signed up for a free month trial for the subscription service. Nothing was sent. On March 22, 2023 I was charged since the trial was up. It is now April 21st (a day before my subscription renews again) and still no books received. I attempted to contact the business on 4 separate occasions (twice via email, once through their subscription portal, & finally through ******** messenger) just to see when the books would start coming as I wanted them for my classroom and thought I'd get a few rounds in before the school year ends. Unfortunately when you contact the business there is no proof of communication but that message was sent a few days before the March renewal charge. This last email and ******** message has been me requesting cancellation as I have received no communication and no books. Its a shame as I was a subscriber in the past and it was a great service.Customer response

I have been trying to cancel my monthly subscription to this business since January 2, 2023. I have made four attempts (2 emails, 2 calls) with no response. I need help!The businesss website states that cancellations may occur with a simple email to ********. I have emailed ******** twice and called her phone number, which is also listed on the website, twice with requests to cancel our subscription. I have received nothing in return since January except more charges.The businesss portal also contains no options to cancel the subscription. Attached is a copy of my latest email to the business from March 2, 2023. I simply want to cancel this service and my attempts have failed. Please help!
