I ordered items from *** Baker online April 18th, order number ******. There were items that that not work out and I wanted to return. I visited a store front in *** on April 28th and was told that I could not return items in store, I had to send via mail. At the store they initiated the return. Later I visited the site and saw that I could in fact return items to the store and I contacted customer service. I finally got a response a few days later where the representative apologized for my in-store experience and told me that he would make a note in the order number to return the refund cost ($10). I went through the online portal and returned the items via provided shipping label. I get the email that my return has been received but I never received the email that my return was approved. I have checked my credit card and the charge as not been refunded. Now with the bankruptcy announcement customer service is no longer available. They received the product and kept my money. I am currently without product and without money, $106.46.Customer response

I purchased two coats on *** baker website on May 5th and intended I trying the coats and returning if they did not fit properly. I visited the website today and its down with a message that as of may 10th all purchases are final. The return policy on the website is 30 days and I expect that *** baker respect that policy and refund my purchase as it is with the return period.Initial Complaint

Purchased a dress on May 5th 2024 I received the dress May 9th, 2024. I did not like the dress so I wanted to print a return label and the website stated that I had missed the return window. Return window was listed as 28 days from date of purchase. Clearly I was in the window. I have sent several emails and the last one was red flagged. They sent an email back stating that after May 10th they are no longer selling online and no returns. To me this is poor business practice. Also there website went down.Customer response

On December 16th, 2023 I ordered three items from *** Baker ****** through their online store as a gift. Their website return policy said items could be returned to the local store for refund.In January, I went to the *** Baker store at the ************* in ****** to return the items. They told me they do not accept online items and I had to process a return online.When I use the *** Baker online portal to process my return I keep getting a message "login failed". I have also emailed the company several times without any response.I have also phoned their customer service number several times ***************): I either get a message that "our custormer service team is not available on the phone right now", or the call is put on hold for about 3 minutes and then disconnected.There is literally no way to contact this company about obtaining the refund they say is part of their policy. None of their systems respond to refunds.Business response
