On March 31, 2023 I dropped off a couple autographed items to be authenticated at a show that PSA, a subsidiary of Collector's Universe, was set up at. I paid PSA to authenticate 2 items. One they deemed authentic and one they deemed not authentic. I was told PSA would send me a certificate for the authenticated item and an explanation letter regarding the item that was deemed not authentic. More than a month passed which was a bit longer than expected and when I contacted PSA they said the item had been mailed. Only problem is to this day I still have not received what I paid for. I had emailed **** at PSA and he said he would look into it and after a few back and forths, I have not heard back from anyone. I called and the person that I spoke to said they would reach out to him to escalate the matter. This has now been close to a month ago. Everytime I call PSA I will be lucky if there is less than 50 people ahead of me in the caller cue. That tells me their must be a lot of issues for that many people to be calling. My emails get a response back that due to backlog it can take up to 2 weeks to get a response. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion. I want the certification service I paid for to be fulfilled. I have been wanting to sell the item that was certified but am unable to do so because I am still waiting on PSA to send me the certificate.
