My name is *******. I'm 23 years old and have several gingival/cosmetic issues I was looking to resolve this month. On September 25th, I signed a contract for a treatment plan where I would receive twenty veneers and perio treatment worth $33,999. On the contract was stated a cancellation fee of 40%, amongst other fees, before a refund could be instated. The same day, I received a dental wax up ($1k) and Invisalign attachment removal (which I didn't sign a contract for, nor was the dollar amount listed in the treatment plan), and no other services.Later on, I returned with the intent of cancelling because I was sold the idea on the spot. When I arrived, I was verbally told the dentist wasn't available since he was in another country and the loan with ************** was already processing. While I did call him with staff help, a release form wasn't already available and another consultation would have to be had.On September 26th, I sent the following email:"I want to confirm my appointments are cancelled. Please let me know if they are. I would like to cancel:October 2nd October 6th October 10th October 3rd But, I would like to have another consultation next week. Please let me know if this is possible, thank you."I would have to pay ~$1.2k starting October 25th if I didn't sign the waiver; if I did sign the waiver, I was expected to pay at minimum $13,599 as per the contract. I was unable to expedite the process due to a series of events which occurred between the listed dates. On October 25, 2023, I paid out of pocket $8,500 (not 40%) of the total $33,999 to sign a release form and waiver with Esthetix Dental Spa. It seems not even Esthetix follows their own contract agreement, so I would like to negotiate for more of my money back.My problem is:- How is it acceptable that there isn't a grace ****** for such a large agreement?- Why do I have to pay thousands of dollars for only having had the removal of my attachments and a dental wax-up?Business response

******* presented to her office wanting to change/ enhance her smile. Treatment plan was presented and she was in the practice for over 3 hours and also began **.
The purpose of a contract is a binding agreement between 2 parties. ******* did not just sign and leave, she also started ** which was removal of all attachments and polishing her teeth, impressions etc. If she was unsure she must have not started anything, not signed anything and just left.
******* should take responsibility for what she gets into. She should be extremely grateful we did not charge her 40% of the treatment cost,I would like to end this discussion right here and wish her the very best.
