June 13, 2021 we entered an engagement with EisnerAmper based on claims of their skilled cryptocurrency group with powerful software. The agreement with EiserAmper covered:1. File personal and corporate taxes 2. Provide tax strategy guidance 3. Perform crypto accounting services needed to produce a gain loss report for prior and future years.4. In June 2021 we were filing 2020 taxes and had plans, with Eisner's support, to refile 2018 and 2019 taxes. After nearly one year of working with them, the current status is:Item #1 for 2020 was filed knowingly-incorrect. Despite billing us ********* and being given 11 months, we still do not have a usable gain/loss report. On 10/14/2021, we were told if only we had another couple weeks, we could have everything done and filed correctlyItem #2 (fully completed)Item #3, never completed. Reports were produced 2 weeks before the 2021 tax deadline, but once we had a chance to review, we found an incredible number of basic errors that we needed to correct. We so far have only had time to correct errors for the purposes of re-filing 2018 and when we turned that fixed report back to Eisner for review, five weeks later they told us that the original report was using tax guidance not aligned with their organization. But, the original report was created by Eisner. When we "reviewed" the faulty report, we did not modify the strategy, we only corrected mismatches in data. In other words, someone on their staff, whom they later claimed was "learning how to crypto from scratch" and not a tax person spent many hours manually creating a report not aligned with the company's own guidance. In the meeting when we were informed of this, they said we'd need to "redo" the report. At that time, we ended our relationship and asked for a refund for all crypto accounting and reporting work.Item #4, 2018, 2019, 2020 have NOT been re-filed and 2021 only an extension has been filed because all have been blocked by the work in #3.Business response
