This company has discriminated me several times. Because I am older and not part of their "wanted" demographic they have discriminated against me specifically due to my age. Im horrified that this is allowed, *** reached out to the company several times and they have ignored me as Im "older" and not wanted by them so they have refused service to me and ignore any email or message I send them as they will only cater to young girls instead of older women. This is pure discrimination plain and simple.

I would give Influenster zero stars if I could. DO NOT fall into the trap of doing tons of reviews and product photos for them when you join. Once they see you will work for free youll never get a sample from them. They want you to write one survey per day while including photos and call them your "daily tasks. They claim that by doing your daily tasks, youll continue to go up in tiers. Supposedly "youll get the best samples once youve reached Tier 9 which is their top tier. Ive been on tier 9 for months and havent received a single survey. (They send you a survey that you have to fill out and if youre in their chosen demographic youll receive the sample you applied for.) I have heard from people who have been on this app for up to six years without ever receiving a single sample. I read where someone recently wrote that you can look on ********* see who posts photos of all of the samples theyve gotten, look them up on the app, and youll see that they only have a few reviews on their page. I thought "surely this person cant be right so I started down the rabbit hole. Sure enough, the people who review the least get the most samples. Then I started looking at the accounts where people say theyve been on the app for years and never received anything. Those people have written hundreds of reviews and posted hundreds of photos!! I will never write another review for them. I dont know if I should delete the app or keep it, stop writing reviews, and see if the samples start leaping into my mailbox. This is NOT a company that rewards its members who help them the most like most free sample apps. Its just a waste of time. They know it as well. Thats proven by the fact that they took their customer service link off the app. Once you search for hours online to find their customer service email and email then you just get a generic response saying theyll get back to you. Im still waiting on my response and its been 5 months. Worst company EVER!

The vox boxs you get (free products in exchange for reviews) are fine. But Influenster also has cash back campaigns that are purposely misleading in their terms more often than not. The wording is purposely misleading, leading you to believe youll get x amount of money back, only to receive a much smaller amount. I have a masters in psychology and sociology with a 3.9 GPA - if the wording is unclear to me then it is unclear to the population as a whole and the worst part is that this would be an incredibly easy fix that they refuse to implement. When you reach out to customer service they respond a month or more later with a copy and paste response, ignoring your email completely and just stating you got cash back so that there cant possibly be a problem with the amount you received. It would be so easy for them to be more clear in their cash back campaign terms, but it benefits the companies involved to keep the terms purposely misleading so you buy more than you will be reimbursed for. If all else fails, the website should lock you out from claiming more cash back offers than what you will be reimbursed for, in case there is any misunderstanding of the terms of the offer, but that doesnt happen either. Itll prevent you from claiming extra than youd be reimbursed for on one campaign but not on the next, so you never truly know the full terms. Ive done 2 cash back offers thus far and have already had a problem with the amount received for both. I would not recommend doing the cash back offers for this reason.

**** been a member of Influenster for years. I typically don't participate in their cash back campaigns, but this one seemed easy so I did. I purchased products from Target, uploaded my receipt and got reimbursed the wrong amount (too low). I put in a support request and sent copies of my receipt. The request went unanswered for over a week, and I replied again asking for help. Still no response. So now I have these products that I paid for and no reimbursement.
