*********************** is the manager and has not helped me resolve erroneous charges over $300 after a correctly cancelled membership. *************************** has not answered any emails after sending probably over 10 text messages to get me to sign up. *********************** has never responded to any of my calls despite me leaving messages. This is the worst experiences I have had with a gym.

TMPL Lexington refuses to cancel my membership and continues to try to charge me for their services. There was no contractual agreement when I started my membership in June 2022, and there are no clear membership termination instructions on their website. I've been trying to cancel my membership since August 2022. They withheld cancellation instructions upon my initial request and did not disclose them until they charged me again in the first week of September, then conveniently revealing that they had a 30-days' notice policy (guaranteeing that I would be charged another month's fees) and that I had to submit a letter by mail if I could not come cancel in person. I sent the letter and they claimed to have never received it so instead of following up with me on our email thread they just charged me again the following month. I complained to their manager, Jane N******, and she told me on November 6th that my membership had been cancelled and that the most recent charge was reversed, which was not true as the charge still posted and I had to file a fraud claim with my bank, who prompted me to change my debit card number and my credit card number. However, I can still see in my online credit card statement that they are still trying to charge my card using the old number, and as if someone had pressed a factory reset button in her brain, the manager Jane emailed me in December asking for updated card information to process my dues, seeming to forget our several conversations about cancelling my membership. Just yesterday, they tried to charge my card for two months' worth of membership fees. They are an extortive, fraudulent, and manipulative business that is very poorly managed. They make absolutely no attempt at moral integrity with handling your money, and I strongly advise against supporting their business as it's evident to me from other online reviews that I am not the first person they've mistreated.

I decided to join what I thought was a nice and respectable gym in ***. To my surprise, I was very disappointed to find out, I was being manipulated, abused, and lied to. It started when sales manager **** Del *****, who proceeded to tell both a friend of mine and I, that we could join TMPL Lexington and pay the yearly price as a month to month and therefore cancel anytime. As well, in order to incentivise, verbally offered a 10 day full-refund trial he supposedly had the authority to give clients, to which we agreed to. After 3 days, my friend decided he did not want to continue with the membership (I did) and met *********************** at the front desk to try and cancel his membership. He was met with completely false staments and lies, completely dismissing the verbal offers he received, although he had cancelled on the 3rd day and not the 10th (thinking he was doing good by not abusing the trial with full refund offer). After long back and forths, he was repeatedly dismissed and never refunded. Earlier today, I decided to cancel my membership (due to my friends bad experience - although I was still eligible for the 10 day refund clause) but after that month (pay the sign up fee + monthly fee) and was told I could only cancel by paying for the following 30 days (which is very greedy for what I thought was a respectable gym) as well as a one time cancellation fee of 99$ because Mr. **** Del ***** had signed us up for the commit membership (12-month membership) and not the monthly, although he told us repeatedly that we could cancel anytime. After receiving a call from **** myself, I began to understand the extent of fraud, abuse and manipulation going on at TMPL Lexington.

Company doesnt honor prices listed online, rude in person. Better gym , locally owned, 2min walking distance, support them over this corporate mess.
