      I was asked to bind my bank card just by registering my account and that I could only register my account and use the software if I did so, and then it kept deducting money while the user wasn't paying attention. The company didn't have a phone number and had to email customer service for a full refund as I didn't use any of the services. Only refunded 180 after deducting my 540 and never returned emails. Unscrupulous company that maliciously deceives consumers, don't download any of its software or sign up for an account.

      They have so many unclear rules, and customers never know. They charge your credits nonsense. Just one example: I used the credits I have from the last cycle to book meals for next week, and they said next week is my new cycle time, so the credits would be charged from the new cycle, so they recharged my credits again.Their customer service is rude too. I canceled a meal before since I decided to work at home, and their customer contacted me to ask if I stole that meal from the restaurant since the restaurant reported to them that they sold an additional ******************** meal. They didn't ask the restaurant staff who gave meals to people who didn't book it but rather reached out to me to ask if I took that which is totally disrespectful. I'd love to sue ********************

      Scammers keep taking your money even without subscription. No way to contact them did not respond to support emails. NEVER BUY THIS.

      Price wise, this thing could be worth it if only it was convenient.First of all - green option as a the "only" option for most of the places I go to, cause me to cancel my account. !!! When I am eating out, I DO NOT !! BRING THE PLATES BACK !!!On other accounts, being in the ***, the restaurant subscribing to MealPal do not post their best option, so often I find myself wanting the different food option from the restaurant.Anyway, it is OK to try for a month or so... but I find that it is not worth the money and hassle.

      They are scammers. They lure you in with discounts and then they say you are not eligible and charge you the full price without permission

      this company is a total scam. at the end of my cycle I still had 97 credits which was worth more than $100 but they refused to let me roll over or refund unless I renew another 70 credits? i told them i have been traveling and no way i would be able to use that many credits. what a shady business model and company. stay away and dont get lured by their so-called "promotion". besides, there is no way to remove your credit card from the account. WTF? hope this company and business die soon.

      I totally agree with the rest of the customers here. Mealpal never shares their Terms with customers while signing up, Sign up thinking of saving money but actually, we are NOT! We can't cancel the plan because there are remaining credits left in the account. We can't put the plan on hold, if we do the credits won't be transferred to next month. Mealpal is still allowed to reserve meals even though the restaurant is off mealpal. **************** bad. This is not really good business practice. STAY AWAY

      This information below has nothing to do with the technology and MealPal's partner restaurants. If this were a review based purely on that, I would actually recommend the service. I never had one problem, and this is why this is such a shame to have to write about their sales practices.There is no "cancel" button to get out of your next subscription in your account menu. You can only change your plan for the next cycle. I believe there used to be a way to suspend the account and "kick the can" down the road, but I can't find it at first glance this morning.So, fine, "I guess I'll send an e-mail then and be done with it," right? In the e-mail, I was clear that I wanted this to be the last cycle I was billed for. The next sentence is verbatim the last sentence from my e-mail request that was titled simply: "Cancel Account:""For the record, when the world gets more regular I would probably reconsider using the service. However, the archaic way we need to cancel accounts and not just suspend them is a major turnoff as well." Based on this, I was offered a refund for the latest charge and a postponement of my service until May. A postponement I didn't ask for and that is just far enough into the future that I just may forget to cancel it . I called out their inability to easily cancel accounts and the company failed to cancel my subscription. I hit the nail right on the head didn't I? Hanging on to customers without an easy way out of a service that sets no minimum subscription term is summed up in one word: predatory. I would recommend to stay away from this business because once they have your credit card and authorization for cycle billing, they do not seem to want to relinquish that ability to charge you for a service you may no longer need.

      They have what should be fraudulent billing practices. I was an old customer (that cancelled) with my billing information in their system. I tried to simply see what restaurants they had in their system and was automatically billed $92 for a month. Now I'm trying to cancel. We'll see if they respond, but judging by other comments, they use this, along with other, deceptive or misleading tactics to get your money. Shame on them.

      I placed a request to cancel my account, so they did restrict my access but charged me for the next 13 months. I didn't notice because it was on my wife's credit card. They are not refunding my money so I'm going to have to waste my time in small claims court with these thieves. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES!!! Stay away.
