I ordered a couch from Elephant in a Box on Sunday. The couch was supposed to be delivered in 2 to 4 days. *** stated it would be here Tuesday, then Wed came and they updated that. There was no info on myself having to be present at home to accept the package. This was not displayed while ordering. I would have not ordered a couch if I had to be home. It is a very stressful week, I have saved up for this couch, and I have not had a couch for two years. The customer service said they would keep trying to have it shipped until I was home. I have already lost trust in this company. Just send it back and refund me. I do not want it anymore. *** never made an attempt to deliver here at all.Initial Complaint

Order placed June 26th for a sectional at $1645.60, order number ****. Sent defective product, company stated defective, promised to ship replacement part July 3rd, no replacement sent. Asked for update July 12th, said order was placed and would check if *** picked up and would get me tracking number, silence after that. Requested refund through email on the 18th, as product is defective and it is still in 30 day trial period promised on their website. Only reply was they would look into the status of my request that had no status, as I was just requesting the return and refund. At this point I believe that there will be resolution, that after my 30 days is up, they will tell me I am out of luck.Customer response
