I recently contacted ophelia after seeing their adds on ********* I use ****** and read online this may be a way to stop. I signed up and entered my insurance information and other required documents. After signing up I was able to set up an apt to recieve a call. During the call they worked diligently to convince me that paying cash would be better than using my insurance. That was red flag number one. Then after I agreed to pay cash they suddenly had earlier appointments available and messaged me through text message over a dozen times to try to get me in sooner. They then just now messaged me to tell me to confirm my appt again or they would charge me *****. Long story short this is a legal drug dealer. They hook you in with hope get you addicted to suboxone then keep you paying cash. I had no idea how addictive suboxone is untill I just did some research. This should be illegal and investigated. This company is taking advantage of some of the most vulnerable people in the country. I'm just glad I did my due diligence and researched this company after dealing with their abhorrent upselling tactics or I likely would have become a drug addict with a drug far worse than ******.

Absolutely unorganized. My medication and appointments have been messed up 3 times this week. With Ophelia leaving me without medication for 36 hours. They think writing Im really really sorry emails fix the problem. They fudge appointment dates, watch out, if they cancel, they will put that you were a no call/no show with whatever provider is on call and writes your prescription. Speaking of no call/no show, if you dont give 24 hours notice of missed appointments, Ophelia charges you $20. Hilariously though, they cancel within hours ALL the time. Inconveniencing you, your treatment, medication etc, with nothing more than Im Sorrys. They scheduled a 5 minute consultation appointment. They didnt mention it to me on the phone. I saw an email the next day that let me know at the time of. They also schedule check up calls randomly. Again by emailing you at the time of meeting to let you know. They will add all of these to your appointments as no call/no show. For me, its to cover their butts and act like they care, at my expense of looking flighty and incapable. A big draw back is that they are only available to help you (you can text, with an intern Im guessing 24 hours a day with no help whatsoever) 8:00 am to 5:00pm eastern time. They really really need 24 hour clinicians support. Nobody can actually help you between regular business hours. If you text them, you get generic someone will contact you during business hours text. I mean they REALLY need someone who can actually do something 24 hours a day. Mostly, for me anyways, to fix all the things theyve made mistake on and are really sorry during that 8am to 5pm business hours. I could go on and on. I think you get the gist. One last thing, they send you drug tests to take during your zoom appointment. I have a drawer of them. Ive never been asked once. Theyre supposed to have you pee in a cup during the appointment and hold your urine results to the screen for testing.
