I have been insured with Oscar Health for approximately three years. During the ******19 pandemic, I was required by my employer to undergo two tests:1. On 8/22/2021, with a charge of $460, which Oscar assured me was paid in full.2. On 8/29/2021, with a charge of $365, which Oscar also assured me was paid in full.Oscar Health confirmed via phone and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) that both tests were fully covered and paid, advising me to disregard any subsequent invoices.Recently, I have been receiving numerous calls from ******************** a debt collection agency, on behalf of the urgent care provider that administered these tests. Contrary to Oscar Health's assurances, the urgent care provider informed me that they never received the payments for these services.Despite multiple calls to Oscar Health and filing a grievance, no resolution has been achieved. I was informed that the previous representative never completed the grievance process. I contacted the urgent care provider to propose an alternative payment method to facilitate Oscar Health's payment. They only accept checks, which Oscar claims to have sent out with check numbers #******** and #*****, but these were never received by the urgent care provider.Furthermore, the urgent care provider's finance department revealed that Oscar Health has numerous outstanding payments beyond my case.Oscar Healths customer service has proven inadequate, often failing to understand or address my concerns effectively. Requests to speak with a supervisor have been denied. This situation is unacceptable and constitutes a severe breach of trust. Oscar Health's practices are misleading and cause undue stress and financial harassment by debt collectors. This is not the service I expect from an insurance provider.I have engaged legal counsel to draft formal communications to all involved parties, particularly Oscar Health, which has yet to fulfill its financial obligations.

Poor company-does not update provider directory. Will only cover doctors in **, does not disclose poor coverage for emergency transportation via ambulance or med evac. High copays for poor service. The customer service is a disaster. Online messages are answered like robots. Unable to communicate with same person if the response is vague. Over all- I would not recommend this company to anyone. NJ really failed with this company.

Oscar is the worst insurance Doctors say they pay slow if they pay at ALL. So you do not get good doctors or many to choose from to see. A lot of out of pocket expenses again because they don't pay. It a shame they are even allowed in the market place.

Oscar Insurance is awful! Somehow I was changed from Ambetter Silver Insurance to Oscar Insurance and they do not pay like Ambetter. It has been a nightmare to get my prescriptions and PCP changed back to Ambetter Silver which went into effect on May 1, 2024. They actually paid for my doctors visit and my prescriptions. I got a bill from the doctors office and I owe money because Oscar Insurance didnt pay for all of the services. Ambetter Silver plus dental and vision is a GREAT INSURANCE! VERY FRUSTRATED AND AGGRAVATED WITH THIS OSCAR INSURANCE!!!! Do NOT make them your primary insurance because you will be paying almost ALL of your doctors visit and prescriptions!!!!

I go do doctors all the time these days, but they won't cover one who actually understands my condition and my needs. I often wonder if I should just cancel Oscar and be uninsured again. My health is currently worse for all the stress of trying to access healthcare this month. And I've noticed that my in network expenses haven't been recorded toward either my deductible or my max out of pocket limits. And now I'm going to have to go out of network some more and spend a lot of money to do it, because Oscar is not supporting me. They mostly just assign me names that turn out to not even be real doctors for my primary care. In years, I haven't been able to find a suitable in-network primary care physician. Their network cost me years not being able to get a diagnosis, and then years of having to educate my providers, and then I finally find someone who can help me and go through all the work to make the case, and they are denying coverage. This insurance gets one star for having some nice people, but mostly it has just done me a lot of harm and refuses to cover my basic needs.

Its just a web page with just the minimal service behind. I have been a costumer since sep 2023 and I haven't been able to schedulle a simple check up. There are doctors on the web page but I am staritng to believe are made up names and numbers, phone numbers are wrong, no one knows them in the hospitals. Drs online are always busy, take ages to return messages. I have te impression there is only a payment processing company when an emergency arise, when it comes to service is nonexistent.

Absolutely the ************* in the world, They changed my AC policy from ********** to their Oscar Health without my consent or knowledge. 3 Times this year alone. Every time I had to spent hours calling Marketplace and try to make correction. They also added one Dependent on my policy even though I dont have any Dependents . My phone number and date of birth was changed. Market Place had only a vague response to all this, that there are other brokers who make these changes. And they work off different system and we are not able to see it.

I'm a 61 year old male that just acquired Oscar insurance. My doctor had prescribed Ozempic, and Testosterone. Oscar has had 5 weeks to approve these drugs that keep me healthy. When I called the man stated this is their normal process further explaining that any day now the drugs would be approved. It's been an additional 2 weeks and no word.
