I would give them 0 rating if that was a choice. I bought my phone on 07/04/2022 at an apple store, they sold me their insurance ***** two years after I lost my phone. I submitted the claim on july 7th, 2024 because i had no phone to call them and online it was impossible for me to submit the claim. it has been 5 days and still no phone. I had provided all information they requested, even proof of purchase (which they can ask apple not me) but I even went to the store and they gave me the receipt and I submitted the evidence on Tuesday and 3 business days after and still my claim has not changed status. THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE - DO NOT BUY THEIR INSURANCE. LIKE ANY OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY THEIR JOB IS TO DELAY THE CLAIM TO DELAY PAYING FUNDS OR AT WORST DONT APPROVE YOUR CLAIM. SHAME ON APPLE, PARTNERING UP WITH SUCH A HORRIBLE COMPANY.Review from Candy N

Person whom I met with initially identified himself as working with a social service agency. Although I told him I could not afford any extra bills and recently cashed in a life insurance policy he insisted I needed his product and had me sign his computer which I thought confirmed I listened to his presentation. Since then a monthly fee has been taken from my bank account. I have written letters, refused mail, returned to sender, sent no money but marked in red marker Cancel Policy, called them more than once, and changed my debit card number but this company refuses to cancel the policy. The last payment debited from my account was in February of 2024, and it is now July and they are still sending monthly bills. When I have called the person I spoke with wants person information such as my social security number. I have given them my name, address and policy number but that is all I will give to this awful company.Review from Jon S

I would highly recommend you steer away from *** for your life insurance needs. I had a disability rider on my life insurance policy which I paid for over 40 years. After 40+ years, the day came when I was ready to collect on the benefit of this rider after being declared totally and permanently disabled by Social Security. It took me over two years to get them to accept and process my paperwork to waive my premium. After they finally accepted and processed my paperwork, I asked for reimbursement of premiums paid since my initial disability date. They declined. After covering my premium for four quarterly periods, I received paperwork which required a doctor's review and signoff to declare that I remained totally and permanently disabled just as Social Security had agreed. I promptly processed and returned the paperwork, but again they pulled a quarterly premium payment from my bank account claiming that I had not returned the paperwork quickly enough. Since I had to have a doctor fill out part of the documents, I could have done it no quicker. Now I am trying to figure out how to get out in front of this next year so they want take advantage of me again. Additionally, I can see now that they will still most likely one day win if a time comes that I cannot track the annual paperwork renewal process or am unable to travel to a doctors office to get the paperwork completed. I put *** in the category of dishonest crooks. If I would have been aware of how bad this insurance was when I was 20 yeas old, I would have definitely done business with some other company. Regardless of age, please do not make the mistake that I made in trusting this company.Review from Rachael T

Garbage!!! Bought insurance for travel wasnt able to go due to car trouble!!! Apparently not covered! Only illness, well my number one travel companion, my truck, is unable to travel due to needing repair. Not covered. BSAmerican International Group, Inc. (AIG) Response

We understand the reason presented for the claim (trip cancellation due to vehicle needing repair) does not fall within one of the named, covered reasons insured under your policy. Horrible. AppleSupport is provided by 3rd party insurance ****** This company deserves no rating and deserves legal action against. In my situation, I lost my iPhone (15 pro **** on my honeymoon (our 2nd day, April 18, 2024) in ********, *****. I contacted AppleSupport and they forwarded me to **** Representative their INITIALLY said they can ship my replacement iPhone internationally, later upon follow-up, was notified they DONT ship internantionally. My primary residence is in **********. Had to change my shipping address to my billing address and not our next destination for our honeymoon (*****, *****). On the last day of our honeymoon before we had back to **********, *** sent me an e-mail informing me that my replacement phone was shipped,....they sent the phone to *****!!! this occurred on April 28th. Upon arrival to ********** I had to BUY new phone with my own money on May 2, 2024. Cost is $1200. Called *** again to find out what happened, they told me phone was shipped, again informed them I DONT live in *****. They "ESCALATED" (whatever that means) incident ticket, told me wait 7-14 business days. Again still have no replacement phone as of today (May 28, 2024). *** takes no accountability, blames Apple for mistake. I called Apple and spoke to supervisor, mentions lost claims are handled by *** only. Im out $150 for insurance claim and $1200 for iPhone that I personally had to buy. What is the point of phone insurance if this happens. Worst of all, *** continues to take no responsibility for this atrocious mistake by them. *** support told me wait til end of this week. Can someone tell me, better yet *** tell me, if they were in this situation, what would you do? what legal action would you take? Can you afford to be out $1300 from your wallet? Can you survive without your phone for +1 month? All I want is my replacement phone and a huge apology and for management to review this and someone to be fired ASAPReview from Gurnice W

I THINK THIS COMPANY IS SUCH A RIP-OFF. MY PARENTS, WHO ARE NOW DECEASED. THEY PAID FOR YEARS AND ONLY RECEIVED $1,000.00 EACH UPON THEIR DEATH. I ASKED AMERICAN GENERAL LIFE INSURANCE *** FOR A COPY OF MY MOM'S POLICY APPLICATION AND ALL THEY SENT ME WAS A TYPED LETTER WITH ONLY MY MOM'S NAME AND POLICY NUMBER. I FEEL CERTAIN THEY ARE HIDDING THE CORRECT AMOUNT WE, AS THEIR CHILDREN, SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS?Review from Marissa T

I am trying to get access to my account -- someone somehow was able to change all my information on file. I called the number in the email address that I received from ********** (they couldn't find my information and transferred me to *** Annuities without telling me). They also didn't find my information and transferred me to *** Retirement Services (they found my information but couldn't help me with the access issue). The transferred me so a machine (i've been on this machine recording call for 9 minutes now........)1) how the heck can someone go in and change my phone number and email address on file without at least generating one email/text notification about it?2) how can Corebridge have my correct email address, but not find my records when I call verifying all my records over the phone? Telling me "we don't have you one file" ----------------------- SO HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO EMAIL ME ABOUT MY ACCOUNT BEING LOCKED?!?!Review from Melissa M

Several years ago I signed up for a life insurance policy with *** but canceled within the first 30 days as it seemed predatory & overpriced. I was young, sat in a room to watch a presentation video & made to feel as if I needed it. Kind of like a timeshare package... After thinking it over I immediately canceled for a refund. Since then I have purposefully had no dealings and zero contact with them. However, in the last week or so they have called me multiple times. Each time they call from a different number and say they want to preview my policy. They don't state where they're calling from and just barrel through their lines which is scammy. If you were calling with a legit purpose you'd state that upfront. The whole interaction they're attempting to bait consumers into thinking there are ************* need to act immediately. Since I'm aware of what I do and don't have, I know that this is a ruse. Their deception should be noted & they should be penalized for it.
