I placed an order online for a specific part number (for a battery). What I received was different. The "replacement" was a lower capacity battery, with a different part number. I'd specifically ordered from this merchant because I was looking for the older, higher-capacity battery.I called to report I'd received the wrong item and they said "that part number was replaced with this new part number." I said that wasn't acceptable, I'd ordered from them specifically because the other part number is a higher capacity battery. He said "ok, send it back to us." I asked "are you going to send a return shipping label." He repeatedly refused, and said "just pay for the shipping back to us, and I'll add it to your refund." He said "just write in how much the return shipping was." Sounded odd, but I gave the benefit of the doubt.Well, they got my item back two weeks ago (brand new, unopened) on 6/21. However, they did not refund me. I called them today 6/29, and was told "ok, why don't you send me a message with the details." I declined, as I'd already expended a lot of time and effort, and provided all the information they needed (including writing up a summary of what happened, our conversation, and how much they owed me for the return shipping). All to fix their mistake.I was owed $25.49 for the original purchase, plus $3.37 for the return shipping. He said he would do it later.I received a refund for only $25. That doesn't even cover the original amount I paid, let alone what I paid for return shipping. Now, the business won't answer my calls I want the rest of the refund I'm entitled to $0.49 + $3.37 for shipping = $3.86Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Universal Jewelers & Watch Tools Inc. regarding complaint ID ********. They did refund the additional $0.49, but not the amount I paid for shipping like they promised.
