For months I have been receiving spam calls identifying themselves as "the accident help line". Sometimes 4 calls a day. They come from spoofed #'s. They start by telling me they understand I was in an accident which was not my fault & ask if this is true. I've said no and asked to be removed from their list. If I try to call these #'s back they don't work. Today I had enough and went along. I gave a fake name, address, accident description etc. I said I didn't have an atty and had not made a settlement with the at fault party. Each time was told I would be transferred to the next person to find out what I was entitled to collect. I was finally connected to the 4th person after 18 minutes on the phone and got disconnected. However a # showed up on my phone which did allow me to call them back. This # was ************. I explained I had been disconnected while speaking to a claims specialist. She said she was with accident.com and started asking me the same questions again. I explained I already provided this information before I was disconnected. Then I told her I hadn't actually been in an accident and was just wasting their time and if they don't remove my # I will continue to s**** with them and make them waste 20 minutes of their time everytime they call me.
