Im a senior and this service seemed on the up and up. I made my payments then n the date I was to make the balloon payment at 3 months (90 days) it magically added $200.00+ to what it had indicated a few days ago. In fact I had communicated with them asking it I made the payment on that date would it be acceptable.From this standpoint I would say Katapult is a scam. There are other services that are transparent.Katapult Response

I am a returning customer, having bought a couple items through them. I returned an item because I was not using it enough and I couldn't afford the payment on the item. Only to get an email stating that my return request was denied because "they didn't receive the item" when I clearly have the ***** tracking info that stated it was delivered and signed for by Katapult. After talking with 2 customer services reps, one by chat and one by phone, I still get the run around. I informed both reps that the item was returned in excellent condition and my obligations regarding the item had ended. They told me they were "escalating" it up the chain, but now I am getting phone calls as well. Needless to say both times, I kindly informed the rep that I am not going to receive any further statement regarding the item, and that if this went to collections without merit, there would be legal action taken. And I hope they do not test me in this matter, because I can be relentless in pursuing what is just.I have one more thing I am paying off soon, and then I AM NEVER doing business with this shady A## company again.Buyer Beware!!!Katapult Response

I ordered 1 washing machine. Charged me for 2 washing machines. I told them I only received 1 washing machine. This company is a nightmare. I just lost my grandmother while this fraud was happening to me. Stay away from Katapult if you are smart.Katapult Response

Paid my loan off early to avoid financing fees and now Im blacklisted from their services. Total scam of a company. **************** is horrible. One could infer they are predatory. Considering I settled my debt and utilized the same as cash 90 day option and now I can not be approved. The customer service states underwriting denial by the system without any explanation of denial. Which is illegal.Katapult Response

Will never go through them again if I could put no stars I would. We went through them for a finance with a company to get product a couple years ago and fell on hard times with my health and just life. And these items just became a back burner when it became one of our payments of things (our fault we know). The company called today and left a voice-mail, never told us who they were calling for just that we needed to call back today it will be in our favor that we did. So when my husband calls, they had to place him over to a manager which then informs him that they want these insane payments to pay off the debt we tried to explain to him that he is the only source of income. And the guy did not want to hear that. When we told him that he would be lucky if we could get to even half of what he was asking he said he was going to put down as a refusal of our repayment and that it's been 2 years since we've made a payment so he is going to come after us to the fullest extent of the law. Again we get we owe the money and we were willing to set up some kind of arrangement but not the way he made it seem, and the manager kept saying he was here for no judgement but it seems like he was judging very hard. And when he didn't get his way he took it out on us and then hung up. For being a Manger he is very rude and ignorant and does not need to be in that position if that's the case.Katapult Response
