    Gotham Sports fraudulently started a subscription after I canceled my YES Network and Gotham Subscriptions and will not refund and cancel the subscription immediately. .

    I had an account with ********************************************* for the YES channel. It was automatically billed to my credit card monthly. On October 31, 2024, I cancelled my subscription through their website. I subsequently receiver an email confirming my subscription was cancelled effective November 30, 2024. But my subscription was never canceled. They continue to bill my credit card monthly. I have attempted cancellation and deletion of my account again without success. I am unable to remove my method of payment (credit card) from the Gotham Sports website. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

    At this time, I have not been contacted by Gotham Sports App regarding complaint ID ********.

    I have attempted to cancel my subscription again effective March 2025.  Gotham Sports never contacted me regarding why it was not cancelled as requested in November 2024.  Although an email confirmation was received in October 2024, confirming cancellation, Gotham Sports has continued to bill me.  I also have tried to delete my form of payment from Gotham Sports website, but it will not let me.  Refunds have been made after complaints to my credit card company, but I do not consider the issue resolved until my account is cancelled, my credit card account stops being billed, and my form of payment/account is removed from Gotham Sports.

    On January 3, 2025, I registered and paid $280 to Gotham Sports. Since then, I have been unable to access my subscription. After a few inquiries, I was finally told that my payment was posted, intentionally or not, to someone named ****** who has been using my subscription. After hours of my time on live chat and phone, they told me they have a strict no refund policy and they would not and will not give me any credit for my 1/3/25 nor give me access to my subscription since it was already being used by someone else. They also told me constantly that emails confirming my follows *** requests were sent. Today, they told me my emails all went to some other email. My information and subscription are now being used by someone else. I pleaded for a refund and they said absolutely not. This should have been a quick fix. I am trying now to report this as fraudulent through my credit card. There is NO customer service at **********************, just someone to tell you sorry, but no can do.

    I canceled my subscription with the *********** (which has subsequently merged into Gotham Sports) on November 26, 2024. Despite this cancelation (for which I have a confirmation email), I continued to be charged on December 10, 2024 ($19.99), January 10, 2025 ($24.99), and February 8, 2025 ($24.99). Upon noticing this recurring charge on my account, I called ********************************************* on February 9, 2025 to demand a refund. I spoke to "Ren" who would not give me a last name or confirmation number, and he said that despite the fact that I canceled my subscription, all sales are final, so Gotham Sports would not issue a refund.

    10/23/2024: Purchased a 1-month subscription of MSG+ streaming service active until 11/22/2024. MSG+ was shut down on 11/11/2024 as it was incorporated into the Gotham Sports App owned by Gotham Advanced ************************************************ Gotham Sports reported any active MSG+ subscriptions would be seamlessly migrated to the Gotham Sports App. My subscription was not transferred over and after speaking to 3 Gotham Sports customer service representatives I was told my subscription would not transfer over and I would not be refunded for the subscription days I paid for beyond 11/11 when MSG+ was shut down.

    *** recently released a new app called Gotham Sports App and charge customers $40 a month to watch local sports teams. The app was rolled out earlier this week and it does not work. Their customer service team is unresponsive. I waited in a queue for over 12 hours. It has been 3 days and still no resolution.

    ************ wants to inform the Better Business Bureau about the results of a recent complaint (********). 

    As we migrated customers from our sunsetting streaming service (MSG+) to our recently launched streaming service (The Gotham Sports App), we had some technical difficulties moving a few customers to the new service.  

    With regards to the aforementioned complaint, as soon as it was received, we began an internal investigation and contacted our subscription management vendor.  A technical issue prevented this subscriber from being migrated over to our new App, and thus paying for it without receiving the service. 

    We immediately remedied the issue, refunding the subscriber the full months fee ($29.99), and this customer can now resubscribe to The ********************** Sports App if he so desires.

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, the issue has been resolved on our end.
