      The date of the transaction was on July.9th 2023. The agreed price was at 35 dollars but we were forced to pay 165 dollars when coming back to the luggage. When we came in we were told that if we came past our time we would be charged. He made sure to repeat that multiple times. We came in about 40 minutes before our luggage was due to be picked up and he had officially charged us 165. We didnt understand and he proceeds to point to a policy which was in the tiny corner so no one would pay attention to it. We were never even told there was a policy paper or anything. He never even pointed to the paper. He held out luggage until we paid. He is a scammer in the middle of ***. Issuing the law to back themselves up. If you look at all the reviews on Yelp it will show you how he has not only done this to me but to multiple tourist throughout ******** and some have been charged a lot more. What he does is disgusting and should be stopped immediately. As you can see from the Yelp reviews I am going to put in the pictures this company has been doing this for YEARS. This should be stopped immediately. Please help other tourist not get scammed. This should be illegal.

      On Aug 8 2022, I came to this place called CBD STORAGE LUGGAGE to drop off my luggage. A white woman told me from 9am to 6pm the fee for 1 luggage was $15 plus tax will be $19 and cash only when you pick it up. She mentions that after 6pm there will be additional fee charge and I understand that and agree it. Around 5:30 I came to pick it up my luggage and now it was a black man who ear navy dark blue polo shirt serve at the front desk. I gave him my pick up card and he didn't say a word and said the total is 80$. I was surprised and ask him why ? it should be 19$. Guess what he said, he said 19$ only when I pick it up at 6pm only. Now I came early to pick up the luggage I have to pay the penalty fee of 59$. I was shocking, that doesn't make any sense. His attitude was ruin and try to scary me said I will go to jail. I tell okay I will wait here until 6pm to pick out up and he said no you have to pay. He also called me lair. I was scary by him so I called 911 five times and report it to the ***** After I called 911, he ask me and my friend to leave. I said I have to wait here for the police to come. Then he went inside doing something which made me feel uncomfortable because I don't know what he is doing. I afraid he has weapon so I called 911 again to ask when the policeman will come. I feel really threat so I agree to wait at the first floor and want to have my pick up card back and he refuse it. My friend and me were waiting for the police to come at the first floor. Around 5:55pm, this black man came down and tell me if I don't agree to pay now you will have to pay additional fee after 6pm and then he walked out of building. At this time, I called 911 again and told police this man run away. I was so helpless now. The police man didn't show up yet and this man walk away ! At the end I was force to pay 153$ and policeman said they had received many report from this place. It is a fraud the cheater place. There will be more victim if there is no action.

      Scammers. I was quoted a price of $30+tax, upon arrival I had to pay $99.00 to this business because I showed up 9 MINUTES EARLY from my initial pick-up time. I handed my ticket to worker and immediately stated that I'd wait until my scheduled time if I had to pay an extra fee, he immediately started going over their 45minute policy and how I did not follow it so I would have to pay him extra, I stated my complaints because I believed it sounded ridiculous then I proceeded to leave and retrieve more cash so I can pay the $99 in full, never received a receipt. During the duration of my visit, the employer was extremely rude and argumentative, transparency and customer service doesn't exist here per all the ****** reviews sharing the same exact complaints/sentiments as myself. They are scammers! They also record while you're there. I left an honest review and to do damage control, they have since stalked me and contacted me by ALL THEIR PHONE NUMBERS in addition to putting up a video of myself and my MINOR aged BROTHER on the internet. UNACCEPTABLE! I am demanding them to take their edited video down as their business practices are illegal (read the real reviews for yourself) and the company is willing to post videos of minors in their videos. I paid them in full so I don't understand why I'm being stalked, they keep trying to reach me. These people are stalkers!

      Scam. Agreed to pay 15$ for storage until 6 pm. Arrived at business to pick up luggage after morning dropoff around 6 pm with no one at the door (gated door and need swipe access for elevator). After 3 minutes someone came up and took us upstairs. Was told that a 99$ upcharge will apply (for a total of 143$ - also on website the "charge" was also different, meaning they come up with everything on the spot) because it was 5 minutes after 6 pm (scheduled pickup time). The merchants were extremely rude, calling names and shouting and refusing to give us bags until we pay the charge (was accused of "trespassing"). They also only accept cash, which was not communicated clearly when the bag was dropped off (possibly to avoid chargebacks due to their scam business practice). Afterward, they demanded the ticket and rewrote on it and lied about the later-written costs/cash-only-payment being on there originally despite it being clearly written in different ink. One of the owners was wearing a bulletproof vest during the entire interaction (which was a red flag that was found to be very strange), and the two involved were being blatantly ignorant, disrespectful, interrupting, and downright rude. Police involved, and were told to bring this matter to a civil court (police officers have body cams on that they are willing to show - police officer names ***** and ***** from NYPD). At one point the merchant said "I can charge you whatever I want to charge you". Multiple similar Yelp reviews revealed that this is not the first time this merchant has done this scam. *********************************************** . They cannot produce a receipt, despite being demanded by the police officers. In the end in order to get the baggage without delaying the trip we had no choice but to pay the amount.
