      The company took my daughter's boxes for storage. Did not return all of them, one of them was broken. The company is continuing to charge me! Can you believe this scam ?!

      Definitely traumatic to leave your belongings with this company for storage over the summer as we live **** miles away. Purchased the elite package thinking thinking that would help the delivery time. There is no way to talk to a live person to confirm anything, only by text initially and then totally being ghosted after few more increasingly urgent and desperate texts as schedule date and time passed by. We are left with purchasing all new bedding/kitchen/clothing as no word of whether we will ever see any of belongings again. I guess we are lucky because in the end items were delivered about 8 days later...along with some other kid's box that does not even attend the same school! Never never again - would caution anyone else thinking of using them. I really don't know what went wrong with the company?!

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It's a train wreck. They failed to execute on multiple fronts. Some of the items were returned five days late, with many items damaged or missing. This includes one attempt that was two days late but didn't include anything that was ours. The drivers reeked of weed and didn't seem to care one way or another. Assume ******************* will be stolen if you use D2D, and that many of your boxes will be rifled through. The owner, ***************************************, is unresponsive and in over his head. He's full of ** excuses when he actually replies to a text inquiry, and then proceeds to "ghost" you if you have issues or complaints. **** was able to reverse charges paid with their card but that didn't cover the full amount of damages and items that were stolen. I would encourage others who were affected by D2D to file complaints with the ***************** *************************** The more they hear the better chance guys like *************************************** stop abusing clients - ******************************************

      This company is the worst! A advanced delivery time a month out. Did not show up on the delivery date. No communication. Delivery was two days late. Missing items and had broken items. Could not get in touch with anyone from the company. This happened to many many students at *** trying to move into their dorms. Happened to enough students it made *** News article and *** local news. Run from this company as fast as you can!

      Company did not pick or deliver items on time even though we paid for the elite service (2 hour window). Emails, phone calls and text not returned in a timely manner.Items returned broken.

      On May, 2022, I contracted dorm2dorm to pick-up my belongings from a *** dormitory, store them and deliver them to another *** dormitory.On early August, I contacted dorm2dorm to request a date and time of delivery: August 28 between 6:30pm 8pm. This date was confirmed on August 28. On that same communication, dorm2dorm notified me they had personnel shortages and could they deliver earlier than 6:30pm? I would be flying into *** that Sunday, so I answered no. I was notified I would receive a text message 15 minutes before the delivery peoples arrival. That text never came. I tried to contact them several times, via text and email but never got a response. They dont have a telephone number nor customer service of any kind, so there was no one to give me any information about my belongings. Everything I own is in those boxes. Consequently, I found myself without any bathroom necessities, no kitchenware, no bedroom linen, pillows, no towels, no office appliances, NOTHING.That night I slept in an empty room on a bare plastic mattress. On Monday, August 29, I emailed deliverydorm2dorm and requested a new delivery for that same evening. I got an answer from dorm2dorm confirming the delivery. However, dorm2dorm never showed up nor texted. They failed me AGAIN. Today is the third day I sit in an empty room because dorm2dorm hasnt complied with their part of the agreement. I have paid all the monthly fees for a total of $509.37. I believe that sum of money should guarantee a speedy and timely service. However, that is not the case with dorm2dorm. There is no one to call and, since I paid in advance, they have all the power. I am helpless waiting for them to do their job whenever they want, if they ever want to do it. I had to incur in unnecessary expenses to acquire linen, towels, bathroom necessities etc. and have had to buy all my meals since I have no cookware nor dinnerware, utensils, nothing for the kitchen. They are bad. Don't hire them!

      The worst company Ive ever dealt with. Use anyone else to store your boxes if you want to get your items back in one piece, or at all or expect any ounce of professionalism or accountability. They missed every scheduled delivery window, usually just didnt show up yet charged us for those delivery windows. They lost all of my daughters boxes for 7 days with the response ofoh they probably will show up. Honestly cant tell you when. Just go about your day / week and well be in touch. Seriously. That is what you will get. When the boxes finally showed up 7 days later there were totally open boxes with missing and broken items. The *** was unprofessional, rude, dismissive and condescending when he did respond to texts which wasnt often. He never returned a single phone call. Doesnt seem to be anyone else in the company working, just the *** (yes, Ill put that in quotes) texting the occasional update. How is that possible?! There isnt a voice line you can call for customer service only a text line which forget about it, you will be texting with yourself. No one is on the their end trying to ever help or resolve the issues. I can forgive errors and even missing boxes if someone is communicating and on the other end assuring you that they are working hard on their end to correct the issue. Didnt get anything close to that.

      After being over 2 hours late for scheduled pick up, we overlooked it trying to be understanding. Then they over billed us almost $900 which we paid since our items were being held ******, thinking we would straighten it out later. Then they failed to deliver on scheduled day and time leaving our student waiting in an empty form without so much as a sheet. They do not respond to calls, messages, or emails. Then they show up at 12:10 AM yes in the morning two days later! Boxes were damaged, boxes were missing. My daughter recognized her items on the floor of the truck bed but when she took the picture they claimed that wasn't her stuff!!!

      The worst moving experience Ive ever had. They were two days late both picking up and delivering my things, without any notice, so I had to reach out and keep nagging them to actually get to my location. Four of my items were lost and despite having paid for Elite which includes insurance they refused to give me the full $400 refund - they lost a clothing rack and my bedframe, which because they were dissembeled they charged as four seperate medium sized items when it was in storage. I was able to get the delivery fee refunded at least, they also compensated me for the things I had to go buy when they didnt deliver my things (like my bed) on time. My mattess was ruined with ********* all over it and they refused to compensate me for that. Overall a terrible experience with so many unnecessary issues, they are also very hard to get a hold of - I had to text the manager himself every day for weeks before I was refunded and then he refused to refund the full amount.

      Terrible experience with the DC dorm 2 dorm. Im unable to put my whole experience on here in detail but it is on **** as of 08/21/2022. It basically took 2 days to even get our stuff and when we finally did some of it was either broken or lost. **************** is non existent and they refused calls and said they would only communicate with us through text where they were incredibly rude. We are debating taking legal action because our most expensive items such as our TV was lost. Do not use them!!
