I hired Relo for a move from Oakland, ** to a storage location (where my things would be kept until a future move to *****) and my new residence on June 3rd 2021. They sent someone to my home to do the inventory, so they were well aware of the amount of stuff I had. 7 movers arrived on June 3rd, started moving the stuff, in the afternoon some of the movers left to bring my things to my new residence, leaving 3 movers behind to finish packing. When they returned, I gave them the remaining payment and a 15% tip. The head mover balked at the tip, stating that I should have given them more, and 10 minutes later, they left without even notifying me. They left all the doors open and the remainder of my things, not packed, and strewn across the floor. I emailed Relo as it was after hours. I had a scheduled walk through with the new owners at noon the next day. I had to scramble to postpone the walkthrough until I could clear out my house. They sent a new team the following day with no equipment, no moving supplies. The head mover told me that the reason the movers left the night before was because "they didn't have enough room in the truck." Then a couple of months later I contacted Relo to get an inventory of my things as I was working on getting estimates for my transatlantic move. I was told that all of my inventory and all of my documents were destroyed in a flood and that those were the only copies. Relo was supposed to move my things to *****, but after this happened I reached out to an ******* moving company. I had to pay $120 to open my storage unit. I had two storage units through Relo. After going through both of them meticulously with the new mover, we discovered 20 wardrobe sized boxes sealed, full of garbage (food garbage, bottles, paper). I was told I needed 2 storage units for all of my things. Not only was a paying for empty space, but many of my things were destroyed (china, furniture). We soon found out that they have no license in **
