    I recently booked tickets for a specific date and time to take my kids to the museum of ice cream on December 17th at 6:30pm. I live 4 hours away from ***, so planned for the trip in and booked a hotel to stay the night. I received text message alerts from the museum of ice cream after making my booking, and had received one Sunday at 3:00pm reminding me to have my waivers signed, which were already done. I was traveling on my way, and arrived for my scheduled time at the museum of ice cream at 6:30pm, to be told my booking was cancelled due to a private party, and that I should have received an email. I checked my email, and found that the notification was sent at 3:36pm, less than 3hrs before my booking time, and after I was already en route to the location. There was no text message or phone call made to try and alert me of the cancellation, despite that being the form of communication they sent prior. I was told there was no one I could talk to (other than the 2 employees standing at the door), and no phone number I could call to contact anyone about the matter. I was given a card with an email address to contact. I emailed the email address I was given within 24hrs of the incident, and have yet to hear anything back. I have already been charged the admission price for the tickets plus the extras I added on for the booking, and the cost of the hotel and travel to this business. I was told a refund would not be guaranteed, only that I can reschedule. I do not want to reschedule after what was done with this booking, and I wont waste more time and money to travel to a business that cant honor their appointment booking times or even notify of cancellations within a reasonable time frame. I would like help reaching this business to resolve this matter and receive my money back for a service that was never received.

    We purchased $56/each tickets for the Date Night, our reserved **** was 6:30pm. However, although we arrived on **** (actually a few minutes early), we were only able to enter at 7pm (30mins after our reservation). Entering 30mins late, probably wouldnt have been as frustrating if we didnt have to worry about parking meters, however, in *** you do. The max **** for meters is two hours which was perfect because if we were able to enter at our exact reservation **** our session wouldve finished at the same **** as the meter, but instead we couldnt finish because our meter **** ended, due to entering 30mins late. Furthermore, they promoted date night as though it was a special night, they boasted special activities and treats designed to celebrate love in all its forms! Let loose in a fun dance class, and be the star of a live were not really strangers game show none of which happened. There werent any guides for the tour mentioned. In fact, there wasnt much of a difference from the regular tickets so I was confused about the price difference. I emailed them regarding this, and the response I received stated We are currently operating at a significantly reduced capacity. Note that while guests purchase a **** for a specific slot they will enter in smaller groups so note there may be a short wait as we only let a limited amount of people in over the course of the **** slot. No solution to the problem was provided even though we didnt get the experience the entire museum. I think if any kind of inconvenience was expected the ticket prices definitely shouldve been reduced in consideration of that. This was a WASTE of money !
