    I purchased my tickets a week ago online & was excited. I arrived 45 minutes before my scheduled time so my ********* sat in the front, by the cashier section. The museum employees who were around or walked by, did not ask or say anything to us. At 1:30, I went to the ticket agent to inquire about check in & she asked me if I had an ******, I was not sure of what she meant. She said, she would have someone meet with me shortly. I was approached by the Retail Manager who told me, "due to the both of you using these kind of chairs the elevator to go to the museum downstairs is not equipped for them". I advised her that I did not see that indicated on the website. She said that unfortunately corporate has not figured out a way to say that on the company website. She asked if we would like a game card to the arcade, it felt like she asked that to avoid the conversation. I expressed to her of my dissatisfaction & the lack of courtesy as a paying customer. The ********************** has been at this location for years & for some reason corporate continues to struggle with the ability to be transparent & genuine on the company website regarding the lack of disabled friendliness What a waste of time. If you're not accessible indicate that so that people won't waste their time or money. This was a hurtful experience. This is a great city & to know that there are places like museums that are inconsiderate to people is really unfortunate. Shame on them!!!

    Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry for your experience at the Museum. Our intention wasnt and would never be to waste your time or provide you both, with a frustrating experience. We are all about having a fun and ****************, our deepest apologies for this incident. We understand your frustration and have taken immediate action to prevent this situation from happening in the future. We are in a Landmark district, with older construction so going forward we will have lighter non-motorized wheelchairs available on site to loan to our guest, to ensure they can visit the Museum, while leaving their motorized wheelchair in our lobby. We will also update our website communication to reflect this, along with coaching and providing our employees with the proper procedures so that all guests, regardless of their mobility needs, can enjoy the Museum experience.Hearing from our guest provides us with real experiences to help us continue to grow, and your feedback has helped us improve. Id love to invite you and your friends back to our museum, free of charge (of course), once our wheelchairs arrive so you can experience what were truly about. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Have a great rest of your week! **************************
