      I purchased a Brand ******* X5 40i XDrive from this *** dealership soon after the dash began to peel , Crack and bubble up for no apparent reason. I took it back to the dealership and they told me it was not covered and they could not help me without charging me thousands of dollars.

      I bought my first car from bmw of Manhattan March 2021. 2 months into having the car I got hit with a bunch of car mechanical issues. Coolant crack leaks, worn down breaks, bad rotors. While driving the car 6 months in my timing belt snapped in the engine which caused the car to swerve in the rain and shut off which made me almost crash into a barricade on the freeway. After the tow truck picked the car up I was told I will receive the car back within a week or 2 after fixing all the issues because the engine had extensive engine damage when the belt broke. I was told I can bring back the car in and trade it in. When trading the car in I was given an apology by the sales rep for being sold a bad vehicle. I was then told I can get in a 2018 530i xdrive with lower miles and newer and promised no issues. Since having the car my check engine light goes on and off, bass on the sound system blew, coolant leaks, burned out right head light, bad spark plugs and coils, break pad and rotors replacement. Also major engine work done within 7 months into having the car. The car would shut off after putting gas in. The car would also vibrate and shake while driving. The car has cost me a career and job due to having no way to get there. I was terminated for excessive call out due to car issues and unable to make it to work. I had to take cabs and borrow friends and familys vehicles which inconvenienced them. While being terminated during a pandemic I was unable to make car payments and insurance payments which end up getting my insurance canceled and the car repossessed. When explaining my frustrations which being sold 2 lemons of cars from the dealership they didnt care. I borrowed money from my family and still have mechanical issues every other week that can be documented and show in service reports. I now have drive train malfunction and a faulty alternator after getting the car back from its last service appointment which took over a week. I have lost my career and family.

      The lane assist malfunctioned on the highway and took control of the steering column. There was construction and the lanes were mislabeled. The lane assist got confused and drove us into a barrier next to the highway. Our daughter was in the backseat. We could not control the car. *** denied it was a problem with the lane assist and BMW of manhattan said we could not prove this happened because of the lane assist. This was really frightening and I want to warn people not to use the lane assist- the ** can kill you unfortunately although we bought it to make the car safer.

      My 2020 *** X7 spontaneously died while in Manhattan. ( the mechanical issue as to why a barely 2 year old *** has catastrophic failure is a whole other issue ). I subsequently brought the vehicle to BMW of Manhattan. Considering the service visit was unplanned, I accepted the fact that I would not be offered a loaner car as they claimed are reserved, typically a month in advance. I was instructed to rent a vehicle through any company of my choosing, after which I would be reimbursed based on the submission of receipts. My vehicle would be out of commission for over 1 month, due to the part being on back order and having to come from *******. The aforementioned part was a new engine. Needless to say, the engine swap improved the vehicles performance, but did NOT completely fix the problem. Once again, the inadequate service was not the reason for this complaint, but is worth mentioning to portray the total picture of inadequacy and frustration bestowed upon me during my interaction with this business. During this time I was waiting for my vehicle to be repaired I had racked up rental car charges of $ ********. This was from March 26- April 9th. It is important to mention that although I returned the rental car on April 9th, I did NOT have a vehicle until April 18th ************* was claimed complete) , because the cost of renting a vehicle on top of my regular car payments became to much of a financial burden. After I submitted the receipts to the service manager, I was told I would be reimbursed. I sent the receipts for the first time on 4/26/22. I received no correspondence and was unable to get anyone on the phone regarding this matter until 08/12/22 when I received an Email telling me the full amount was approved for repayment. That was the last time I had any contact from ***. All I received was 1 Email in over 5 months. I ironically received that email only after I hit them with a barrage of calls that day. I still have NOT been reimbursed. I want my money.

      I leased my 2020 *** X6 M50i back on December 11th, 2020. Since then, I've driven ***** miles and taken great care of the car. In Jan 2022, the engine started shaking, so I took it to BMW of Manhattan to check on the engine. They worked on the engine for a few months and changed some parts, and it was all covered under warranty. After those changes, they tested the engine and saw that it was still making problems; they decided to shift the blame on me that the engine was running without oil and asked me to pay for a new engine which will run me around $18,000! This should still be covered under the warranty. I sent them evidence of all my oil changes (attached). As a loyal *** customer, this is very upsetting and unfair! I did nothing wrong and always made the oil changes on time, and the car should still be covered under warranty.

      Hello my car is a *** X5m 2018 and have ***** miles on it and is still under warranty. I send my car to the dealership at BMW of Manhattan on Jan 20 because i was having issues with my steering weal and my driving was not good at all have a lot of problem and hearing noise on the front passenger side. They did not find any issues and i had to go there myself to show them the issue and since than they are playing around with me. They are keeping the car for since jan 20 untill today march 24 the car is still not fixed they say they fix it and i went pick up my car is still not fixed. Same issue. They told me to bring it gain and now they say that they find the problem and im waiting for parts i do have emails and messages that i have exchanged with them and all of this i think because my car is under warranty and they dont want to deal with it. My car have the warranty untill 31 march 2022 and now they have not fix the issue yet and i dont know what to do. This is insane. I don't know what to do. Im looking to extend the warranty and they don't want to do that. Only problems with this location im stuck in this now and dont know what to do. Pls help me out and show me what do do.

      My vehicle was towed in for a hit and run on 8/9/2021 - insurance was provided the pictures of damages. Was called to pick up car on 9/15/2021. I went and what was paid for by insurance was not fixed (the rims) also an additional deep scratch which was not there before was found on the passengers side door I showed him the pictures sent to insurance. This car has been in BMWs possession for over a month and I’ve been paying the lease. During this time frame god knows how many people touched my car. I left the car to them and said I will not be taking it back until this issue is resolved. Please have someone call me in the management level. I need them to fix what insurance paid them for there are multiple things that were paid for they didn’t do. Also I need the additional passenger side door scratch fixed which was not there as you can see from this picture.
