    I made a purchase of $128.71 at this online store on the 29th of February, and applied a $10 gift card to this purchase. On March 12 I sent an email to the customer service address alerting them that I had not yet received one of the items in my order that I had already been charged for (items at this online store are charged for at the point of sale and not when they are shipped). I received a reply that the item was out of stock and that there was an error with their website. I had paid $17.21 for that item and was refunded only $7.21 to my credit card, while the other $10 was refunded to the gift card. I contacted the business again stating that this was unfair to me because I had not canceled or returned the item, that this was their error and I requested the full amount to of $17.21 to be returned to my credit card. They declined saying that the their policy is to provide refunds first to any gift cards used. However, I pointed out to them that their refund policy online does not state this AT ALL. There is no mention of this practice on their website in either the refund section nor in the gift card purchasing section. They replied that they will work to update their website. People should be aware that this business is not reputable and does not take accountability for their own system errors and short changes its customers using rules they don't disclose.

    Be careful! The concept of this app/company is good. And I never had issues and love supporting small Businesses but SHOPTIQUES has become very shady. I have ordered items that the boutiques never send and it takes at least a week or more to get in touch with a human being at SHOPTIQUES to try or attempt to fix the issue. I had a boutique not send me the correct items. I returned them, they said they sent me the correct item (weeks later) and yes it shows as delivered via **** but I have yet to receive it. We have cameras on our property and nothing was stolen as SHOPTIQUES would like to claim. They opened a case with **** 2 weeks ago and have not heard back which means apparently its my fault, and tough luck. Im out an item and the money. The effort of even trying to resolve this has taken so much time I dont even care about the $50 loss Im at. I do have a high return rate and would highly warn other shoppers 90% of the items you buy are **** The material is not worth $2.00. If you have a problem you cant even have the boutique itself help. You have to de end on SHOPTIQUES where maybe 1 or 2 people work. Its a nightmare. Very unfortunate. I dont think its a scam but I dont think its a legit professional business.

    These are absolute lies, this customer has placed 55 orders on our website and returned 45 of them! The customer is clearly up to something. Or just using our website as a personal fitting room/closet. On the last order she placed, the order was marked as delivered to the address requested. The customer then said she didn't get the item. At which point we opened a shipping claim for the customer and offered to ship her a replacement, she said she doesn't want a replacement and is demanding a refund. The customer is only writing this review because we told her that we will no longer be accepting orders from her.

    That is not true. As a breast cancer patient purchasing online is the only thing I can do. And yea, I demanded a refund for the item I never received and did not want a replacement as it would not arrive in time for the event I initially ordered the items for. I do not lie. I didnt realize over years of buying or needing to return items was a issue when I pay a return fee. We have cameras on our property that shows no item was delivered on said date I also have contacted the **** who has admitted not the regular postman was working that shift. They advised me to open up a case. Again, Im the time of Covid, cancer and then some, online is the only way some can shop. This business is completely disgusting. I rather deal with the boutiques direct. I am also not the only one who has experienced this with this company. I did ask for a refund for $48 for the item i didnt receive. Thank you.
