      I signed up for Bark Box because of the splash pad promotion. During my purchase, I was asked the type of splash pad, when I went to checkout it had me pick the frequency and the splash pad was listed there as well (the reason I did not pick the month to month option). I never got a confirmation email, never got a shipping email. I knew it went through because I was charged and could see the stairs if I logged in. I was not impressed with the communication from the start, but thought maybe it was my email (no its not in junk or promotions). My box just arrived and there is no splash pad. A representative told me that I picked the double box promotion which is incorrect. Why have me pick a splash pad? It was the whole reason I decided to got with Bark Box. If you are thinking about it, dont trust the promotions and know that you may not get communication. That should have been my first hint that things may not go well. I understand things can happen, but at least offer to make it right. They offered an extra box which I declined because I dont have faith theyll get that correct and I signed up through a splash pad promotion and expect a splash pad. Im not one to write reviews, but I wish I had done more research before subscribing. Hopefully this helps someone else.

      I loved bark box recommended to friends and bought my fur niece ones for holidays and birthdays. The past two months I am truly disappointed in them they used to be amazing. May box never came it kept saying it was shipped but never was I contacted them and instead of canceling they said they would give double in ****** box and use the may box money they alreay withdrew from my account for ****** box. I already get the double box so for my dog it would be triple the stuff which was great because **** is her gotcha month. Now again the same vague issue her box is delayed again and if she doesn't get her box a 2nd month in a row to contact them at end of month. I am disgusted that not only were they supposed to make no may box right with ****** box they are now failing with there "make it right for ***** I wanted to cancel after may incident because I contacted them when it was late and a week later only to be told they wouldn't be sending anything. It is the same time I contacted last month and nothing. They USED TO BE GREAT NOW THEY ARE AWFUL!

      When I signed up for our subscription, it was for 12 months. They seriously try to hold you to this commitment if you try to cancel. I emailed several times with no resolution. I tried to call to speak with someone to no avail. I chatted and literally had to force them to give me a refund and cancel my subscription. I had to ask to escalate to a supervisor before they would help me. NOT WORTH IT.

      Genuinely, I like Barkbox.My dogs have enjoyed many boxes and it makes me happy to see their delight when they KNOW that the box is for them. I usually purchased two boxes per month. The reason I'm sharing this review is to, hopefully, extend how I feel about their marketing practices and promotions so they can do better. I believe both to be misreprestative, misleading, and frankly dishonest. Earlier in 2024, January I believe, I opted out of getting boxes for a while. May 2024, I received a promotional email about FREE LILAC YETI BOWLS with a SUBSCRIPTION. Little did I know that "renewing" my dog's subscription didn't qualify. I emailed them to ask about the bowls and they responded nicely that mine didn't qualify for promotion. When I reviewed the promotional email, it never stated "renewing subscriptions won't be honored", yet in very small print, ar the bottom of the email it states "6 or 12 month plans only for new subscriptions."Now ... if I'm not qualified for the promotion, why even include me in your email OR anyone else for that matter considering everyone would already be receiving boxes or like me, renewing? They attempted to blame me for MY confusion in understanding the promotion. There was nothing misunderstood. I MISSED exactly what was intended to be missed because that crucial aspect of NEW SUBSCRIBERS ONLY should have been in the main portion of promotion, not hidden at bottom of email. I expected two lilac bowls for my dogs. Barkbox got $80 for hardly anything in the boxes I did receive. And you know, Barkbox lost a loyal customer because they were more worried about ME being confused over their intentional misrepresentation of their promotion. They 'could' have made it right by sending two lilac bowls and I would have kept my subscriptions for the 6 or 12 mos. Now they have their bowls and lost a paying, loyal customer. Hope it was worth it. Jw

      My dog goes thru these toys in 12 hours. She gets the tough toys. I have reached out to Bark Box and requested that my subscription be cancelled and they always come back with well lets try a nylon toy. They never offer to just cancel my subscription. I have asked politely. They did move me to an every other month plan. They refuse to do what I ask. Im throwing $30 plus dollars away every time they send a box.************

      So I signed up for 2 bark boxes for both my box. Dogs and requested no chicken flavored treats and no nylon 3 toys I continue to receive both cancel both subscription Now they are stating they cannot put the money back on to my debit card. So asked for a paper check and was told that it would take several weeks to issue my money This has been going on now for one month and still have not received my refund. Send from park box and at total. Refund is $398.60 not to mention. I had event that costs via ************************************************************** her mouth do to the nylon toys.

      This company will charge you for 6 months, and will not give you your boxes. Then when you try to talk with them, they don't communicate with you, then tell you they won't send you your boxes but 2 toys. So 5 boxes I did not get, at 42$ a box, how does 2 toys make up that cost. They are taking customers orders charging them, and then not giving them their product. Also, no customer service number, so complete scam!!!!

It appears that the subscription is paid monthly and that the first box was delivered along with the honored promotional free bed. The rest of the orders that haven't been delivered have a note that says the postal service was unable to deliver and so the package was returned. Those were also at no charge. Thank you for sharing with us that you have overall trouble with **** deliveries. We are sorry for the trouble. We use *** but depending on the area it may get handed off to **** and we are not able to select how final delivery happens. Rest assured, your account has been closed as requested and you have been refunded for the undelivered orders that were paid for. If you receive anything, it is on us.       When you sign up for bark box, they lead you to believe you can go on a trial basis for six months without further commitment however, there must be some fine print that they stand on which allows them to auto enroll you anyway. Once auto enrolled they make it almost impossible to get your money back/cancel. They auto charged my card when I specifically only wanted to try them out for the first six months. When I asked for a refund, I had to wait over a week, several attempts at reaching someone, they do not have a working phone number where you can actually talk to a human so I had to escalate my Complaint through my credit card in order to receive any resolution. Once I escalated the issue for a dispute, then they reached out and stated they would Refund all but $30, With no explanation what the charge was for. I still have not received the refund yet and hope I do not have to wait another week Or more escalating of anything before I see it I highly recommend you do not use service. Aside from the horrible business practices and customer service, the treats are almost always the same. The toys are cute, however but overpriced, and you can get them anywhere. Definitely not worth this much Hassle.

      If I could give zero stars I would! I signed up for the super chewer toys and none of them lasted longer than a week. Some of them didnt even last an hour. I tried to cancel and they will not let me so beware about signing up for x amount of months. Its bogus I cant cancel and feels a little sketchy they wont let me. Worst company Ive ever experienced.

      You can't cancel your subscription. They keep telling me they can't find my subscription, but they send me a box every month. And the stuff isn't worth it. And you can't get any customer service.
