Compound Media is a subscription based podcast and streaming video service. I signed up for a 6 month plan in January 2023. Their app almost never works. Shows are often not able to load and its nearly impossible to actually watch or listen to them. Because of this, I attempted to cancel my account. However, there is nowhere on their site or their app to cancel. Their FAQ page tells you to go to their "Subscription" page to cancel, which doesn't exist. When you click the link, it just reloads the page you're already on. There is also a "past purchases" page which doesn't exist. It too just reloads whatever page you are currently on when trying to access it. My only other option was to email their support team and ask to cancel the account. 4 days later they responded to my email saying they would take care of it but also asking my why I wanted to cancel. I responded telling them how their app never works and I can't listen to any of the shows. At this point I thought I was done with them. I tried to log in a few weeks later just to confirm my account was cancelled and it wouldn't let me log in or play any videos so I assumed it was cancelled. Now nearly 4 months later, I was again charged $45 for another 6 month subscription. They will not respond to my emails demanding to stop charging my card. My only remaining option is to get a new card with a new number. Compound Media essentially makes it impossible to cancel your account once you've signed up.Initial Complaint

This company has no means to contact someone where you will receive a response. Ive cancelled a membership over 12 months ago and continue to be charged quarterly by them. *** disputed charges with my bank because they still charge my card after over a year of e mails and calls unreturned.This company also has no cookie notice and opt out on their website.
