Summary:1. Outpost Club didn't deliver the product and service they promised on their website. The specific studio I purchased for was not available for me at all. Outpost Club website and social media advertised their service as a no-hustle co-living space and no housing change, while it was actually tons of hustles and changes in the process.2. Outpost Club scammed me and lied to me throughout the whole process, led to my emotional injury and physical disease.Full details:I paid for my one-month stay in Cassa Studio in *** ($2750 rent + $1000 deposit). I arrived in Cassa Studio on 5/5/2022 and was not allowed to check-in. The agent at Outpost Club (***) told me they made a double-book mistake and couldn't allow me to move in and they wanted me to stay at a different place with no features I was looking for. Cassa Studio has laundry room, gym, shared kitchen while the different place has none of them and is much smaller. I refused to take that alternative place and reported the issue to their customer support team. The customer support team said they heard it was my mistake to not check in. They also immediately removed the Cassa Studio info on their website when I mentioned I'll hire a lawyer to deal with this.*** housing is competitive and it's hard to find somewhere without booking in advance. I had to find some 2-day hotel stays for my business trip in May and kept researching for hotels, which in the end cost me thousands of money. It was raining hard on 5-5-2022 and water came to my ears when I was dragging suitcases near Cassa Studio which cause infection. *** kept lying to the customer team, which caused lots of my emotional injury, and I got two diseases since 5-5-2022 and spent a day in Emergency Room for medical treatment. I was healthy before 5-5-2022.Until today, Outpost still owes me an apology for the misleading advertisement and unfulfilled promise they delivered on their website and for their bad customer experience.Customer response

At this time, I have not been contacted by Outpost Club regarding complaint ID ********.However, one of the members from the company responded to my message on LinkedIn as a follow-up with what I sent on 5/5/2022. The message is "**** ****** * ** ***** *** *** ********** *** **** * ** ***** *** *** ********* *** *** ** *********** ** **** **** ** *** ** **** **** **** ***** ******* ****** * ********* **** ******** ** *** ******** ******* ********** ** ***** *** **** ******** ********** *******" That said, the message didn't seem to be a direct response to my complaint through BBB.

On March 1st of 2022 I was in desperate need of housing and made a security deposit of $1475 to OutPost Club to rent a room inside an 8 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, **. They wanted me to sign a lease before moving in and without even seeing the place only going off of photos on their website. I refused to sign the lease until I actually saw the place. When I visited the place it was dirty and it was occupied with 8 other people and sharing a bathroom with 6 other people. I opted out and asked the OutPost ********************* if I would receive my refund of the security deposit and he answered yes and that he had already started the refund process. He then proceeded to tell me to email customer service to ask for the refund. I emailed them and they didn't respond until next week on March 8, 2020 at 8:27PM assuring me the refund would come in 5 business days. It is now March 21st 2022 and I have still not received the refund.
