      Hello ,My name is ************************* from ***. I just contacted customer service and spoke with a representative named ***. She was super helpful , broke everything down for me and was able to clear up a mix understanding. *** and I were on the phone for over 1 hour and she was patient despite my 1000 questions. Not once did she get frustrated. She was even laughing with me . Exceptional customer service. It made me feel heard and I was even able to learn a gew things. Other experiences arent the same and one can get wrong information. So shout out to *** and your team for great customer service. *** was awesome.

      Worst company to deal business with. I have a sponsored employer plan and have requested a rollover after I left. It's been over a month now and the delaying techniques is horrible. Started with the paper form but with no proper communication as to what needs to be done, you would need to call them several times to find out any update or you will be in dark wondering what is going on with your request. I have done the **file as well and finally got a confirmation but never received my check after 10 working days per their policy. Today, I called again, and was only told it could have been lost in the mail. And was advised that they can re-issue a check w/c will void the other one that is already in mail. A company like this shouldn't be allowed to do business this way. ***.

      I am a plan sponsor, i.e., an employer who has my employees' pensions set up with Mutual of America. It seems as though every few months, something goes catastrophically wrong with their online system, and it becomes impossible to access the plan sponsor website and make contributions.This becomes incredibly frustrating because then we can't keep plan contributions current with payroll, and it becomes an accounting headache as we have to accrue all these retirement contribution liabilities, which makes the organization look irresponsible.

      This company is the worse. Do not do business with them. I stopped with them, requested a withdrawal that took forever. I mean forever all the while losing money. I put ****** in account in first of Oct 2021 by Dec 15th 2021 it was gone. This was supposed to be for retirement.. My ex employer mistakenly sent another payment after my withdrawal of all funds. *** received it and MOA invested it and lost it. I asked for my last money because i had already withdrew all money and did not want anything to do with them. They told me I lost it.. DO NOT INVEST WITH THEM. 401K OR another investment firm. They get rich off you.

      The company will not let me access my account because the address they have on file is somehow incorrect. They will not provide a different method to verify my identity.

      I agree with all the reviews.. MUTUAL OF AMERICA IS THE WORSTTTTTT.. Why is it so hard to get your money.. You call and everyone tells you different things. I requested direct deposit and was told that it would be deposited in my account.. When I called to inquire because I never received it, I was told a check was sent... DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DEAL IF THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY.... THEY ARE THE WORSTTTTTT!!!!!@

      completely agree with all the others. i requested that a large withdrawl be deposited directly in my bank account; so indicated on the form and attached a sample check with routing number clearly shown. Ten days later got an email that withdrawl had been processed and would be received in 3-5 business days. ten days later i sent another mail that nothing had been received - no response. Finally a week later i called, after 45 minutes and five different untrue excuses, it turns out they had issued a check and mailed it to our overseas address because the sample check i had sent was in jpg format and their system can only handle pdf (not mentioned in instructions of course). Now it will take them additional thirty days to cancel the check and confirm its cancellation before they deposit the money. If they finally get it right this time, i will at very least have lost almost sixty (60) days interest on a rather large sum . will be very glad to be finally rid of MOA Unfortunately most people who end up with accounts there ( teachers, workers at non-profits) didnt get a choice of where their TDA would be held

      Absolutely the WORST customer service ever. It has not always been this way. I used to be happy with them. But they have a lot of my money, but their customer service is USELESS. I spent over an hour being transferred, put on hold, telling my story over and over, and in the end they did not answer a simple question about my account allocations.
