      I ordered a copy of my daughters birth certificate on 4/7/23 on VitalChek website. Since then, I have lost my mother and father during that time. Including becoming homeless for a short period of time. I have called and reached out about the status of this order and still received no resolution. I reached out to the county clerk of Seminole county records and the county clerk has no record of the request from Vitalchek to send a copy of the birth certificate copy that I paid for. I called customer service at ******************** because at this point I really need the copy of the birth certificate I paid for. The company tells me because it was over a year ago, I have to pay $35 again that I already paid them for something that they never completed.

Unfortunately, we are not able to view the details of the order. For several agencies we are contracted with, we perform a yearly sweep of our system. We cannot retrieve orders past the 1 year date of the order being placed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

      I provided Vital Records information to obtain a certified copy of my marriage certificate from ******** in *******************. But to my surprise I got notified by the Alameda county office that no marriage records exists. At that point it was clear to me that Vital Records used my home address to perform the document request, instead using the correct marriage information which I had provided.In order to clarify the issue I asked Vital Records to send me a copy of my original request for the certified marriage certificate, but was denied. Not sure why ???

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      VitalChek still did not provide the requested information that I had entered into the order sheet on their website. On the order sheet I had to provide my name, my wife's name, place of marriage, date aso. I still don't see that information provided. I did actually attach their order confirmation to this complaint, that is not what I'm asking for. They must not have read this complaint, rather typical how they process customer information. They totally ignored what the complaint is about. Another proof point how they go about dealing with customer requests. To verify that they didn't make any mistake they need to provide the copy of my input data for their processing.

      I paid for a birth certificate that was supposedly shipped out and was never delivered. I opened up an investigation with *** and they closed it saying it was never found so they dont know if they ever received it. I would like to also include *** also. This has delayed my passport. Had to send a family member to ******** from ********** to retrieve one for me. Gas, Hotel actual cost of birth certificate and time. Has to next day birth cert to Feds and pay rush processing for passport and still may not get it in time.

      I applied to get my birth certificate for a federal job vital check since I was born in ***, and they are the only vendor. The first time I let it autofill, but I did not notice it used my nickname which is ******, and it denied my request. Since then, I reapplied and made sure everything is correct. It asked me to download a picture of my driver's license I done it over 6 times, and it continues to ask me the same to download my driver's license. I tried to call but nobody ever answers. I was on hold for 4 hours one time. I need my birth certificate asap otherwise they are going to give my job to someone else. I worked too hard to have this job taken away from me.

      It seems that I am having to go to NYC to get my birth certificate because every single time I tried to get it they made some excuse of why they could not give it to me. It has been about 15 times that I have been denied so I am having to go get it myself.
