    DGA Security system has been deceitful in their business practice and taking advantage of a small business owner. They have charged us an "upgrade fee" without informing us of the costs and without our approval. They say they need their systems updated and then charged us $517.16 for this upgrade which made no improvements to us and did not actually impact us. We have tried to exit our contract with them but they say we are locked into a 10 year agreement. We were not advised of this when we purchased the system with them. I was told it was a year to year and they have hidden the 10 year agreement in the fine print of the contract and will not release us.

    I made the deadly mistake of accepting a proposal for a security system from DGA in June of 2022-in total the 3 systems for the first and second floor of our new ** **** HQ cane to 300K.It all seemed like it was on track-their rep ***** spent a total of 3 hours on our site walking with me to map out options-I provided them with full architectural drawings of our space and an immaculate map of our existing IT infrastructure that had been toned and tested.Mind you that we never had any work done by DGA in terms of installation; and we had not yet paid the prerequisite deposit needed to order equipment or schedule labor.Someone at my company mistakenly sent them a wire for 20K due to a miscommunication about the deposit amount. About a week later My company decided we could not use the building for our intended purposes due to a market pivot-so we wanted to back out of the system.I reached out to my rep and told her-and that I was tasked with asking for a refund less any fair fees for the 2 site surveys of 3 hours total.she then pretended to escalate the matter several times over the next month and a half. She went from saying it was on her supervisors desk, then her C.E.O for "processing" to finally not returning any emails or calls-until today Tuesday August 23rd when I tried to call in and go around her for real answers-now she said in an ice cold deadpan that:"I just found out yesterday, that our company is refusing to issue any refund" and when I asked her to tell me "on what grounds" she deflected to "its out of my hands" and with a very kinda OHHH WELL entitled attitude.She didn't care that I told her that my trust in here company and advocacy for them as a vendor partner was reflecting poorly upon me in my organization.She still refused to give me a name, or number or email of one of these "superiors" who she had escalated the matter to.Stoic Emotionless and Uncaring-and I kick myself for not seeing the signs
