I get multiple calls everyday implying that I have type * ******** and they want to monitor my blood sugar with ******** apparently paying for it. I have asked repeatedly to not be contacted to no effect. When I ask why they think I have type * ********, they generally hang up. This seems to also be a violation of HIPPA.Business response

We very much apologize for this. I'm not very sure what is happening as we don't do much outbound calling to people unless they submit an inquiry for our service on our website. This shady-sounding company sent an unsolicited mailing to my family's head of household marketing "remote diabetes care" and "diabetes supplies" that are "fully covered by ********** FIRST: NOBODY IS DIABETIC IN THIS FAMILY, HOUSEHOLD, ADDRESS. We DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH UNSOLICITED, OUT-OF-STATE COMPANIES FOR ANY REASON. EVERY PIECE OF UNSOLICITED ******** ADDS TO THE RISK OF COVID EXPOSURE/INFECTION AND UNWANTED CLUTTER. THIS IS A CEASE AND DESIST NOTICE. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO REMOVE ANY AND ALL NAMES ASSOCIATED WITH **********************************************************, specifically *****************************. We don't know where they got our family member's name and information, but their services are totally inapplicable.Business response

Hi BBB team,
The individual in question did receive a direct mailing from Perry Health. We used licensed vendors to purchase lists of individuals who we thought were likely to be good candidates for our service. This person did receive the mailing, and requested to be removed from our contact list via phone call and email, and we promptly complied. They did not receive any additional outreach via call, text, email, or physical mailing after making this request. If they do not want to receive mailings from other companies, there are lists to sign up for/ways to get removed from the pool of people available to mail, but we confirmed with our vendor that this individual is not on any such list. We are sorry to have inconvenienced them with this mailer, but do not believe we are in violation of any law or rule, and as such wish to dispute this claim.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:WHO is this business's "vendor" ostensibly selling names addresses, etc. they reference??? I want full name, details, and contact information. You must comply and provide this info and this despicable entity needs to cease and desist selling, trading, pimping, and in any manner distributing our info NOW, IMMEDIATELY. No, "Perry Health," the addressee, his family, and household are NOT "good candidates" for your alleged goods and services, as NOBODY HERE IS DIABETIC. Even if someone were, it would be foolish to have "care" [sic] }remotely" with some unknown, unsolicited, out-of-state entity thousands of miles away. ******** scams and/or exploiters are ubiquitous. "Perry Health" FAILED to respond to my contacts--(Nobody took or replied to my call; I left a voice mail message. Nobody replied to my email.) It is only by getting the BBB involved that they claim to have taken action, and this is only with a bunch of yammeriing rationalizations and buck passing, lame excuses, and blaming the complainant/target.

Better Business Bureau:
Perry Health's name/address/info vendors/sellers/pimps "HealthWise Data" whose website self-proclaims people like my family members as "targets" refuse to answer their phone. Meanwhile, the onslaught of unsolicited, unwanted, inappropriate, inapplicable, covid-contaminated junk mail of medical curses from direct-to-consumer marketed heart valves to hearing aids to Perry Health's "diabetes supplies" goes on and on....DAILY. Perry Health, you've finally admitted you're in bed with these monsters...you must be in direct communication with them; we can't get a hold of them. YOU MAKE THEM DELETE THEIR DATA ON ** AND MAKE THEM STOP DISTRIBUTING OUR NAMES, ADDRESSES, AND INFO BY ANY MEANS AND IN ANY FORM.In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I'm sorry you weren't able to get a hold of them ***.. Unfortunately, we don't have any way to force them to remove your name from any lists they may have. As I stated previously, we have already removed you from any of our communication lists, so you should not be getting any mail, or any other communications from Perry Health.
