I paid ******************* aka CUT AND STITCH LLC $500 on April 20, 2021 for a sample for my new bag that I designed. After months and months of delay, I received a sample which was not to the specifications that I designed or required. After two more months of delay, I received a sample of the bag which then was not made out of the correct material and again there were components missing from the design that still needed to be fixed. I spoke to ******************* and also his "brother" **** ******* to which they said these problems would be fixed and to send another $500 to complete - which I did through PayPal. I also sent another $1000 as a deposit to get a larger order of my bags that I designed manufactured. After weeks and weeks, no answer. When I tried to contact ** *** **** - they would not answer my phone calls. I finally called from another phone number and TJ answered however would not return my money, my fabric, my labels or pattern for my design. I have not heard from them since I sent my demand letter from my attorneys and I am now at the point of getting my ******** lawyers to now serve them with my lawsuit. I have tried to go to their offices in *** - ********************************************* - however this "office" is NEVER used and is in horrible condition. There is no one at the office, the office looks like a mess and the building Secuirty officer says he NEVER see's ** ** **** or his dad ***** at their offices. The building gave us a warning not to go any further with these scammers because they have had many people show up at their offices only to be dissapointed and scammed out of hundreds or thousands of dollars. The fashion industry is a small circle of people and I do not want ANYONE else to be harmed or scammed out of anything by *******************, *********************** or *************************. I would like to the Better Business Bureau to help out myself and other victims of this scam immediately. I am even open to an open class action lawsuit.Initial Complaint

I am having essentially the same problem that happened to the previous person who filed a complaint on BBB (I read the complaint on the website).I paid this business $500 to build a prototype/sample. For more than 3 months, ** (the owner), kept saying 'we will get it to you next week.' After saying this for 3 months, he mailed me a prototype that was incredibly poor quality and did not follow the original requirements that I gave him. ** refused to give me a refund and now he is ignoring all of my calls and texts (just like he did most of the 3 months). Since he wanted payment on venmo, I have no way of getting my money back now because venmo does not support disputing transactions. This business is a scam.Customer response
