On 8 Dec 2021 I placed an order with Lionel for a Polar Express Train. The item was a Pre-Order and was supposed to ship before the end of February. On 11 Dec 2021 I was notified by email that my item was delayed and the expected shipment date was "End of Jan or Feb". On 12 and 27 Jan 2022, I followed up with emails asking status of my order and received no response. On 10 Feb 2022, I placed a call to the *************************** and was told that they do not use the email I used to send my inquiry even though that was the email they used to contact me *********************************************************** I was also told that my item did not ship with the first lot and that I could cancel my order. I was then told I could wait on my order but it would not ship until June but there was no guarantee on that date. I became agitated and asked how they could confirm order and state in correspondence that item would ship in Jan or Feb and then just not include my order in the initial pre-sale. The customer service representative then disconnected my long distance call from ******* *****. This was a present for my daughter. We are stationed in ******* ***** serving our country and this behavior on Lionel's part in my opinion is appalling. My daughter is so upset and I would like assistance in resolving this issue please.
