I paid the contractor stated this complaint is about $8000 for materials to put on a metal roof one year ago in November and he just keeps giving me excuses why he can't do the job week after week and will not return my calls and last time he texted me he threatened to call the cops on me and will not pay me back my money.Business response

Ive been in contact all along. We are running behind for sure. Constantly changing his mind do the job, return his deposit or drop material. I just want it done either way. Constant harassment and threats definitely isnt the way. Ive heard we were going to court more than once. Im at a stand still with materialInitial Complaint

Wagner Built Construction and I signed a contract for the removal of old siding on my house and the placement of new siding on April 16,2022. At that time I gave the company a deposit of $7,000. Later on May 11, 2022 the construction company and I signed another contract for the replacement of 3 windows on my home. At that time I gave Wagner Construction a deposit of $3,000. On July 29,2022 a request of $3,000 was made to complete the purchase of the siding. I was notified on August 4, 2022 by my credit union that that check had been cashed twice! I have reached out several times to the representative of the company, Mr Nathaniel Wagner. I have been working with him through this entire process but have not received any conclusive answer to why the work had not been started. Wagner Built Construction has shown no signs of performing any work in a reasonable amount of time to date. I no longer have trust or confidence in their ability to complete the job. As such I would like a full refund of $13,000.Initial Complaint

Was given $4,000 in November to complete our deck project and Nate has ignored our calls and texts. We had issues with this company over the summer for not completing work and he came and put in a few hours of work (which is not to code nor on the architectural plans). This work now needs to be fixed and Nate has not responded nor shown up to fix this issue. We have incorrect and incomplete work after giving him a total of $15,000.
