      I've made 3 phone calls to an answering machine and have yet to get a call back. I had stairs installed on my back porch which I thought would have lasted longer than 2 months. The whole side has pulled away from the post and the stairs shake to the point that no person can safely go down them. Honestly, I'm not real comfortable letting our pets go down them. God forbid there is a fire in our home my husband is blind and now we have no exit to the rear of our home.

      This company did an excellent job installing my new fence. BUT, their business office is beyond abysmal. Getting receipts for over $14,000 in work was pure torture. Plus, they told me it was my responsibility to get the building permit. No problem, as I have applied for and received many building, plumbing, and electrical permits over my years as a DIY home improvement guy. My permit application was DENIED because their contractor information was out of date at the NT building inspectors office. I contacted Richard, a co-owner, who said he immediately took care of the problem. Immediately to me means immediately. When I checked with the building inspector an hour later, he had NOTHING. When contacting Richard, he implied that the people in the building inspector's office were too stupid to check their fax machine. That got fixed a couple hours later. Then, I wanted a written report from the building inspector that my installation was code compliant. Fences Unlimited did nothing about this. I contacted the NT building inspector, wanting something IN WRITING that the installations was compliant. It was not. Richard expressed ignorance of a change in the building codes that was at least 2 years old, and they had to replace about 50 feet of my brand new fence to make it compliant. Even before that, Paul, the other co-owner, contacted me as soon as they were done wanting their final payment. I wanted a written compliance from the building inspector, which they found was non-compliant. Then, when I arranged the final payment for this $14,000 + work, they were unable to send me receipts for my payments,. Their office manager, Sue, claimed she had sent them to me by email. When I persisted, she sent me screen shots from her sent email, which showed and INVALID email address for me. I asked Paul, the guy who only wanted my money, with no apparent concern for my problem getting proper receipts for over $14,000, told me that Sue lied about me not wanting US

      Not very good at returning phone calls. I have had issues with our gate starting to drag on our driveway when we open it in the past, so you have to lift up on the gate to be able to open it. The 1st time I had to call to ask for them to fix, I called a few times within a 3 week period before I actually got ahold of someone. I spoke to the lady in the office and she told me that the owner will call me but did not receive a phone call for at least 3-4 weeks. I understand that this is a busy time of the season but that should be no reason to not return phone calls. I wrote a bad review on FB, then suddenly there was a response and then I received a phone call soon thereafter. Not a good way to keep customers. Now, same thing is happening again. I have called a couple times within the last 2 weeks, finally get a call back from the lady in the office..says she will have the owner call me, well still no phone call so I tried calling again today (5/26/22) and the mailbox is full??? YOUR A DAMN BUSINESS FOR GODS SAKE!! Why does a business phone number have a full mailbox?? Very very poor customer service!! I will not recommend them to anyone! Not even my enemies! So sick of this. Why does it take someone posting a bad review to get a phone call!! Worst company I have ever dealt with! Not to mention the fact that I continue to have this problem with my gate. If this was installed correctly, we should not be having this issue!
