      This "business" collected money to remove snow for the season, but never showed up with the contract or to do any snow removal. He has one excuse after another, or simply ignores people reaching out to him.

      these people with the snow plowing complaint every year do the same thing. i still service them! they just think they are the only one i have to plow and want to be done forst each and every time!

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This business owner allegedly drew up a contract for the customer. The contract stated that he would remove snow if there were more than 3 inches fallen. The customer paid the business owner, but never received a copy of said contract. Not only did they not receive a copy of the contract, but he did not come remove the snow when we had gotten well over 3 inches. He followed up many days later, claiming that his phone was broken and that he would come next time there was snow. He made one excuse after another, for why he didn't show up, none of which made sense. After reading many other reviews about him, I find that this is a common practice, and he does this to most of his customers. Him stating that we all want to be the first ones to get our snow removed is ridiculous, he doesn't show up at all. Since then, we have not gotten more snow for him to remove, but he still has not dropped off the parent contract. He is stating that he will not give the customer a refund because they are under a contract, but the contract is nowhere to be found. The contract has also not been signed, merely paid for. At this point, the customer should just be getting their money back and cut ties. But he refuses to give a refund. Regards, ******** *****

      I hired Lumberjack landscaping to do a redesign is which he did and turned out pretty nice. He was paid in full. We gave a deposit of 700.00 . The pics are not enclosed for security reasons on 4/26/22 for a deposit to order pavers from ****** Materials in Tonawanda, NY on Young st in the city of Tonawanda. This was to do a back porch landing area. Brandon Reed is the owner and told me the exact price to order was 673.71 for classic Hollandstone gray which i gave 700 because he will need extra materials. This was his price on 4/22/22 in a text message which i have. I asked him do we have to order the whole pallet and said you have to order the entire pallet to do that. i said OK no problem let's do it. On 4/26/22 he was asking about the check to order it and asked a few times even when my family had covid which i thought it was a bit weird because he was pushing for it. Many weeks went by and he says we are behind around Memorial Day so i said no problem we thought early June. on june 20 i stopped in the place where he says he ordered them. They said no such order was placed but knew who he was. I questioned him in a text because he claims his phone has issues with the volume. He got defensive with me and was very unhappy because he wasn't telling the truth and made of tons of excuses like its *** ****** fault and nobody wants to work and i am not supposed to work these types of hours. i simply asked for my money back and refused saying he will get there when he gets there and kept giving false information when he was coming. He had a fire at his house and claims he lost 7100 in cash which the fire is true happening but not believing he lost all the cash. I asked him why he didn't send it back and got no response back on that,,, just get lot of excuses and lies from him. If you look at other complaints on here its same messaging from him. He took our money to front his business for his next job. not enough room to go on. this is his last chance or small claims

      the thing is people embellish what actually happens. i was never pushy. we’ve been known to mice wyick, and efficient. there is a hiring crisis in this country. secondly i have had lots of struggles within the business due to these issues. thirdly  i am dealing with personal health issues, not able to work, no reliable workers. no fault insurance cut off, haven’t been receiving any treatment since march 22. i can only do so much. we’re behind timeline wise, we’re backed up, and at a stand still because i have no workers. lastly i lost everything in a house fire except a tv fish tank and dressier, some clothes. insurance won’t come anywhere near enough to cover repairs. my home is being demolished, i have everything intention in the world of more tofu ing the situation

      We paid $475 for a snow plow contract. They were supposed to come at 3 inches of accumulation. On January 16 and 17, we got an accumulated 24 inches in Tonawanda, NY in an anticipated storm. Lumberjack never came. They claimed to be out beginning at 1am on January 17. They announced on social media at 2pm January 17 that every home had been cleared once, that they were going home to rest, and they would be back for a second round later. We were never cleared, not once. We alerted them by text, by social media - they gave us excuses of exhaustion, being "stuck in a rut" and being unable to pass through roads. At 4am on January 18, he texted that they would not be coming at all. We had to clear 2 feet of snow with a tiny snow blower so my husband, an EMT, could leave for his shift. If we had known, we would have been snow blowing in increments all day - it's nearly impossible to move 2 feet with a small machine. The plow service has STILL not come, as of 4:30pm January 19. We, as well as numerous other customers, have asked for a refund and cancellation of contract. They have refused, saying "accidents happen and I don't have to come if I don't want to, it's in my contract."

      BBB spoke to Brandon at business and the following was relayed:The first major storm we had was over 2 feet of snow. I was very busy and slipped off a driveway. After being unable to pull it out, *** was called and it took 14 hours for them to get to me. We were able to get everyone and went out 3 times over the course of the storm, although it took a lot longer then we wanted. I am not willing to cancel the contract and issue a full refund as I have been and will continue to service the contract as agreed. I am willing to refund for the 2 days missed which is $10.

      The date of the transaction is 12-1-21 for snow plow services, walkway shoveling and salt. Plow service was a no show. Tried to call and message him multiple times. For plow services 11/21/21-4/7/22. Paid 500 dollars.

      On December 01 I **** **** contracted Brandon Reed to plow my driveway, shovel and salt my driveway as per contract. I played him the full amount and we both signed the contract. The first significant snowfall occurred on or near January 17 2022. I the called Brandon at least 10 times as he did not answer. Finally on the following day I was able to leave him two phone messages asking him to please contact me with no responses. I and my wife then began calling him many daily. His mailbox was full for more than 3 weeks. During this time it had snowed and to no avail. I finally found him on the internet for his company (Lumberjack snow removal in which he promised to come by and plow. Again he did not show up or cont
