I paid for my membership for the month of March in the amount of $22.99 on February 17th. Before this transaction took place I did attempt to cancel my membership, however when I spoke to an associate I was told that I had to cancel my membership before the 10th of the month. When I requested to cancel my membership and get a refund for the month of service that I wouldn’t be using I was told that I would either have to come in or submit a form via email. I told the associate over the phone that I would come in-person, when there was a manger present, to cancel my membership. A few days later I noticed that I no longer had access to the planet fitness app and my membership information was not accessible. I think the fact that my membership was canceled without my physical signature supports my reason for requesting a refund for the month of services I will not be using in March. I would also like to add that I have had multiple issues with staff members, including managers, and have submitted multiple complaints with this individual gym in the past. Each experience grew worse and worse and as a result I have become extremely dissatisfied with this entire business and their customer service standards! It is my hope to have some sort of resolution to this issue. Thank you.Business response

BBB spoke to business and the following was relayed:
We have assisted the customer with cancelling her membership. A refund has been issued and this has been resolved.
