I would not recommend Nye Ford to anyone. I recently brought my used **** in for a few minor issues because I have an aftermarket warranty and they said they would work with me. Two weeks go by, in which I received texts about how they were going back and forth with the warranty company (understandable). The service writer finally texted me, stating that the final bill was $8200 and that the warranty company would only cover $3100, which would cover the parts, but none of the labor (??) which would leave me with a $5100 bill. So I contacted my warranty company the next morning. They informed me that Nye ford had submitted a $4600 claim to them and they agreed to pay $3100, which would have covered all the parts and labor under their agreed labor and parts rate. So Nye Ford only submitted a portion of what was supposedly my final bill... and then threw the warranty company under the bus when they were in fact covering everything on their end!!!! They hit me with a $400 diagnostic fee, which I paid just to get my truck out of there. When I looked at the receipt of everything they had looked at, they had twisted my complaints so bad it wasn't funny. I wrote down on a piece of paper everything that I wanted looked at, which was attached to THEIR copy of the work order. I had asked them to look at the fuel pump, which is under the cab, since it was making noise. The service report said that I stated the WATER PUMP UNDER THE CAB WAS MAKING NOISE AND THEY DETERMINED IT WAS BAD AND THAT I NEEDED A COOLANT FLUSH. Anyone who knows anything about vehicles knows there is NEVER a water pump under the cab! Also, I wrote down that the AC didn't work. The service report said I stated that the HEAT and ac did not work and told me I needed a new thermostat for the engine.... sorry but the heat and thermostat work just fine, thanks. I was told in the text that I needed a new caliper and brakes in the front, which was not mentioned at all in the final service report! Be warned!!

BEWARE of add ons at Nye Toyota! Very disappointed with how my purchase turned out; I had a great experience until they had me sign for LoJack, appearance protection, and traceable theft protection... easily $1100. When I asked the finance person what everything was he said that it was all aftermarket add ons that were already on the car, sign the paper, sign the screen. No full explanation about what everything was, so I felt pushed into signing. I learned about the 3 day 'cooling-off" rule. Under the Federal Trade Commission's Cooling-Off Rule, consumers are able to cancel contracts for over $25 and receive a full refund until midnight on the third day after the sale. I contacted Toyota 1 business day after getting my vehicle, didn't hear anything back. Contacted them again, and they said no refund. I argued it, stating the facts and I was told I would receive a call back from the manager. Needless to say I didn't hear anything.

We stopped by Nye yesterday to order a **** *****. The sales associate, Devin Baird, printed the ‘out the door’ price which included 3 aftermarket add ons that we did not discuss. We pointed to the extras and asked him to remove them (appearance protection for $399 + LoJack for $699 + traceable theft protection for $449). We were not inclined to pay the $500 deposit to order the car until these $1,547 in optional add ons was removed. The rep disappeared for a few minutes, then came back to tell us that his manager said that these 3 aftermarket add ons are “mandated by the dealership”. According to FTC rules, consumers have 100% control and choice over these aftermarket add ons, so this dealer is breaking the law when they add these to a vehicle purchase without consent from the buyer. We will buy our **** ***** from an honest dealership that doesn’t play illegal sales games.

Actually, as a private company and dealer, we are able to add any accessories to a vehicle and sell it with added accessories.  You have the right to shop wherever you would like Nicole.  We believe in the products that we put on our vehicles before the sale and offer them as part of the vehicle sale.  I am sorry that you don't appreciate what we are doing.  These are not "illegal games" and we are not breaking any laws as you say, I wish you the best.

I brought my ********** in for an AWD sensor light. The truck was driving fine otherwise. Each day for the next 5 days they called me with a new problem that needed to be addressed. It was interesting that they had to run diagnostic tests each day to discover each new problem. $4875 later the truck was finally fixed. Be very careful with the service department team.

We actually have a fantastic service team at Nye Toyota and yes, your vehicle had an AWD sensor issue that resulted in multiple problems with your vehicle. We are sorry that it wasn't easy for us to diagnose everything the first time but with older, high-mileage vehicles these things happen. We wish you the best with your new repair facility sir. Have a nice day.

Brought my *** truck to Nye Auto Group. Well first called them and told them I have a code of # 5 cylinder misfire and asked them if they could diagnose it a little further. The said yes. So I dropped it off. The dealership calls me and tell me they diagnosed my truck and it has a #5 cylinder misfire! So I’m thinking to myself I already know that and I’m the one who told them that?!? So I repeated my thought to the service person and they said they still had to check it whit their system. So now I’m no further ahead now from when I dropped my truck off. Now the service people are telling me they want to look a little further and see if they can find any metal in the engine. I tell them I just changed the oil and there was no metal in the oil or on the magnet. I also say bring a misfire I assume the lifter has gotten stuck and probably worn down over time that it was not opening the valve enough and that’s why it’s throwing the code. So my opinion because it most likely has been happening over time there would not be any metal anywhere. My truck started right up and ran fine drove down the road with no issues other then code. So the service team was very intimate in wanting to look and kept pushing the issue. I told them again I just didn’t think they will find anything but do what they need. So the next day I received another call from Nye auto group service department. They tell me they found the problem. After work I stop at the dealership. As I enter the service department they show me lifts sitting on a desk and one has failed. Oh and the striped my engine and put all the part in the bed of my truck. They tell me 8 thousand to over 13 thousand dollars to fix my truck. I tell the I never gave them permission to strip my entire engine down and want my truck put back together and driving the way I brought it to them. They said no it was my problem to fix it and don’t be mad because I don’t want to send the money to fix it!!

So we are supposed to take your word for it? The #5 cylinder misfire? Unfortunately, we cannot just assume that what people tell us is the problem, if we did and it wasn't you would have said, "why didn't you diagnose it yourself?". So it was a lose-lose situation for us from the start. And as far as the rest, yes, you authorized us to continue diagnosing and we did. Ultimately your vehicle needed more than you wanted to repair which is understandable. And we cannot reassemble after a full teardown as you declined the actual repair. I am sorry for your situation and it may be advisable to upgrade your truck. Thank you and have a nice day sir.

This company seemed very promising and had the exact vehicle that we have waited for so long to find it due to car and chip shortage. The sales associate Zach was extremely helpful and very nice and patient with us and tried his best to help get us the best deal. We went on our test drive and fell head over heels with the truck. We came pre-approved for this truck and were ready to drive off the lot. When it came time for us to sign the paperwork regarding the price of the vehicle, this is where we began running into issues with this car dealership. First, we brought a vehicle that is a current lease and needed to be bought outright. The buy out on our lease is actually only $16,500 but they stated in order for them to buy the car out that they needed $17,500 and that we also needed to pay an extra $2,500 to pay for the mileage that we are over. Funny because, if we just bought our lease outright, we would not have to pay the extra $2,500 they were trying to charge us. We would have just paid the ridiculous fees that they were requesting. As we were checking out the truck, we were planning on leaving the lot with, we witnessed our car being test drove at a ridiculous speed through the parking lot flying past us. They only offered $1,000 off of MRSP as a rebate which is fine because we are eligible to receive EP pricing on vehicles because our Grandfather was an retired employee from Chrysler. He worked for Chrysler for over 30 years. The dealerships reasoning was because of the car shortage and because of the chip shortage that they refuse to honor our EP pricing. They then proceeded to tell us that they got an email today stating that they are somehow able to not accept EP pricing on specific vehicles. I looked up the EP pricing contract that we are offered and nowhere in this contract does it state that Jeep trucks are not a part of EP pricing. The manager came over to “help” us out and stated that there was nothing he could do and that they are trying to be as helpful as they can be. I made it very clear to that manager that they did not help us, nor did they try to even help us out with this at all. Our Grandfather will be reaching out to Chrysler themselves and filing a complaint against this company for violating the EP pricing agreement. It’s a shame when a company tries to take advantage of a customer trying to purchase a car from them and their answer is “Well if you change your mind and want to pay MRSP feel free to give us a call and we would be glad to help you.” SO basically, they refused to honor our EP pricing, gave our car a ridiculous test drive, and they are trying to take advantage of the slim car market and the fact that there is a shortage. No company should be run this way.

So, we cannot buy out your lease for "your" buyout price. We didn't want your vehicle so we were sending it back to the factory. Your mileage absolutely has to be paid by someone, presumably you as it was your vehicle. We are not eating your over mileage. We certainly do not drive customers vehicles at "ridiculous speeds" through out lot. Have you actually seen our lot, it's tiny. We do not offer EP pricing due to the car shortage as we need to pay our bills to. You are more than welcome to go to any other CDJR dealer and request EP pricing for your grandfathers hard work and see if they will honor it. Unfortunately we cannot at this time. When inventory levels increase, we will go back to discounting vehicles. Hmmm, taking advantage of a "slim" car market. Lady, I have over 200 employees that I am trying to ensure they have paychecks at the end of the day, this IS ABSOLUTELY how you run a business. Enjoy your day and I hope your new dealer can tolerate the treatment you gave us. You were nothing but rude and demeaning to my entire staff. Thank you very much!
