Since we first purchased this truck new from business, drivers door automatically locks whether the truck is running or not. We have to crawl through the passenger side door to get in. We have had this truck in twice to have this issue fixed and was told they know nothing about this issue and couldn’t find anything wrong. However there are a lot of reviews online from consumers complaining about this issue and the problem goes back a few years. There is no way ****** hasn’t been told by consumers as the internet is flooded with reviews and as angry as we are . We don’t know what to do from here. Please help.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I did in fact trade the vechile in but highly upset with the fact of losing my 4,000 I put down , I would like that back to resolve this issue of being sold a certified pre owned vechile that wasn't certified pre owned by any means ,
Regards,
****** ******

I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue from Country Club Nissan in Oneonta, NY. The inspection was passed by the business with two bad tie rod ends. To this day they only replaced one side. When I purchased the vehicle they had told me the only issue was the moonroof. That is still not working as it should. I hear a noise when I’m turning corners as I drive it. When the service department test drives my vehicle they say they do not hear it. There are also many other problems they refuse to address. When I step on the gas, it hesitates for 3 to 4 seconds. The RPMs has been up to 5. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. I would like to file a complaint with Country Club Nissan to either fix the issues I am having with my vehicle or return my money. I have paid diagnostic fees and deductibles. Diagnostic machines do not show everything that is running wrong with a vehicle. I have all 5 receipts. Please let me know if you need them.Business response

*******'s first complaint was that the sun roof would not close after opening. This issue was caused by the weather seal being pinched which was repaired at no cost to *******. The technician was unable to determine why or how the weather strip became unfastened and pinched up preventing the sun roof from closing. Her second complaint was that she believed one of her wheel bearings was going bad. To address this concern we road tested the vehicle as well as tested each wheel bearing when the vehicle was on the lift. No issues were found with her wheel bearing however, the technician did identify both front outer tie rods had play in them and both front outer tie rods were replaced under her extended warranty plan and only had to pay for her deducible of $108.00. Reference Repair Order ********.
On 31 January 2022, ******* complained of hearing a bumping noise after having the outer tie rods replaced. During this appointment ******* and the technician did take a test drive and they were unable to duplicate the noise she was hearing. After the test drive the technician inspected the suspension and the driveline and found nothing broken or loose. ******* had a suspension diagnosis bill of $67.50. Reference Repair Order ********.
On 7 Mar 2022, ******* complained when traveling at 60 MPH and let off the gas there was a rubbing noise. During the test drive the technician was unable to duplicate the concern and ******* declined to go on a test drive. Additionally the technician inspected the driveline and could not find any issues with the vehicle. During this appointment the technician did identify a heat shield that was loose causing a rattle which was repaired. ******* was originally charged for the $125 diagnosis fee and the heat shield clamp $19.13. The following day ******* was refunded the $125 diagnosis fee as we had previously agreed we would look at her vehicle at no cost to her. In the end ******* only had to pay the $19.13 for the heat shield clamp. Reference Repair Order Number ********.
On 4 April 2022, ******* brought her vehicle in for general service which included an oil change and to resolve a recall. ******* did not complain about any other issues with her vehicle. *******'s bill was $64.78. Reference Repair Order Number ********.On 11 April 2022, ******* reported her check engine light came on and we found the vent control valve was stuck open. Her vehicle was repaired under her extended service contract. Additionally ******* complained of a noise when turning the vehicle to the right and that the weather strip that we had replaced blew off while driving down the highway. The assistant service manager test drove the vehicle and did not hear any noise when turning the vehicle to the right but did hear a whistling noise. During the technician test drive he hear the whistling noise but did not hear any noise when turning the vehicle in any direction. The whistling noise was caused by a trim piece next to the windshield wipers becoming loose. That piece was re-installed. After not being able to hear the noise when turning the vehicle ******* declined to test drive the vehicle with either the technician or assistant service manager to duplicate the noise. While the vehicle was in the shop the technician and the assistant service manager inspected the sun roof and found the weather stripping to be in place but there was a small cut in the weather strip. The small cut was not preventing the proper operation of the sun roof and ******* was informed the sun roof was operating as designed and if she wanted a new weather strip installed she would have to pay for the part and labor. ******* declined this repair. *******'s bill to repair the vent control valve was for her deducible which was $108.00 and was not charged any diagnosis fee for her other complaints. Reference Repair Order Number ********.
On 26 Apr 2022, ******* complained that the vehicle's engine would hit 5,000 RPM's when traveling at 50 MPH. During the test drive the technician was unable to duplicate the issue, additionally we dispatched drivers to pick up her vehicle in Bainbridge to bring her vehicle in for this appointment. During the drive from Bainbridge to Oneonta the driver did not report having any issues even after being asked concerning *******'s complaint. The technician inspected the drive train and was unable to identify any issues or concerns. ******* had no charge for this visit. Reference Repair Order Number 26071388.
