Atlantic Energy is the worst energy supplier of electricity around, your bill goes up monthly, I've was a customer for years and became tired of it their rates, and I called ************ after looking at other electric supplier prices some were .12 - .16 cents per kilowatt hour for a monthy plan while Atlantic Energy was charging .44 cents per kilowatt hour. When I had called I had asked if Atlantic Energy if they had monthly plans available also and she said yes we have them at .16 cents, I was never ever notified of their monthly rates and I was supposed to be one of their best customers as I was never notified by mail, phone call, email anything that being one of their best customers that they have better monthly rates available, but they'll send you a package of light bulbs every year for being one of their best customers. Do not do sign up with Atlantic Energy LLC unless you want a package of light bulbs.

My uncle received a package of lightbulbs for 'free'. I called the number and was told the bulbs are totally free. I specifically asked if accepted and used is this going to change his electricity supplier. I was told no. When I asked why they're sending lightbulbs and why his next scheduled 'free' shipment is coming next month, he asked if I'd like to cancel future shipments. Sketchy, at best. I think people are being played.

This company is awful. I pay so much more for my electric ever since having them!

Scam they say they can save you money on your electric **** thats a laugh we used to pay $170 at the most and now we pay it was $254 is in the that is for two people and one is a senior citizen on a fixed income and this is my opinion honestly NO I would never refer them to anybody or any other company like them because you pay not only them but you also pay Ohio ****** so why pay 2 companies when you only need one that is trust worthy and thats how Ohio ****** for your electric and thats my opinion on this company and we dont recall ever signing up with them and Ohio ****** said they sent us a form but we do not recall that form and we explained that to them but when we tried to cancel with Atlantic energy they said they were right in the middle of a billing cycle and only would refund like $65 to us of $100 **** with them!

I had this guy call me told me that since I was living in a very small apartment, joining them would be way cheaper. I gave them info, but decided I didn't want it and was in the midst of something, I hung up. As i was ready to move I get a phone **** 3 times what it usually is. I Live on Social security so when they took over $400 and some dollars out of my acct, it left me broke. It was a stressful mess. I did get a check for $87, not near enough. Fraudulent company

Prices tripled. Nothing they could do so they say. They did not even know they were our supplier.

I signed a fixed price contract with Atlantic Energy for 12 months. They honored the agreed price for three months during summer. After three billing periods, when the heating season started, they jacked up the price. They managed to pull this off by leaving a higher price on the contract, along with the agreed price. They could then switch to the higher price when it was to their advantage. CAREFULLY READ YOUR ESCO CONTRACT!

Scammed by Atlantic Energy. Stealing my money! Help! I have been in my home for over 3 decades and have never had a bill go up 300%! I cannot pay this bill! They sold me a lie.

A salsa rep knocked on my door and gave some line about "energy prices coming down in the area" and some of our neighbors being "stuck on the old pricing". So he wanted to check the **** and see if he could save me money. When I asked if he was selling me something, he said lies to my face. He said no and then basically just repeated the same pitch in different words and wanted to see my ****. When I said now wasn't a good time and that I was working he asked when a good time to come back was. For not trying to sell me something, he sure was trying hard to sell it to me.

Yesterday, Oct 25 2021, a salesman knocked my door and stated hes working with national grid. He asked to see my bills to make sure I got the residential rate for utilities supply. He asked me to sign up something to make sure a fixed low rate. Later I found hes actually tricking me into switching my energy supplier to ATLANTIC ENERGY. After that he restated hes actually working with ATLANTIC ENERGY and his company is the main supplier of the area I live in for twenty years which was a lie but I did not know when I heard it. He said I was actually using the service provided by ATLANTIC ENERGY so this switch was only like opening an individual account with the company and it would not change anything except I would get the lower fixed rate. I finish the switch because he said I could quit anytime so as the agreement. Later in the same day I did some research and found out many complaints about this company. Moreover, a lot of tricks are there in the agreement. For example, only the gas rate was fixed and the electrical rate was variable. Another example, the price of electric will be the ***** of electric itself PLUS A PREMIUM associated with the procurement of environmental attributes as further described about which the salesman never mentioned. Theres much more like this in the agreement. Lies and tricks! I immediately decided to cancel the switch. NO one answered the call. I also sent the notice of cancellation by email according to the instruction in the agreement. NO replies. ALL I WANT is an immediate cancellation of my enrollment with Atlantic Energy and send me a confirmation of cancellation by mail or email. I dont want to worry about the surging of my utility bills as the most of other reviews mentioned.
