I got my transmission done in November of 2022. Paid $3800.00. It was slipping. It still slipped after i left the shop brought it back and was told there was nothing wrong. My transmission till this day slips and shutters. It was never fixed and i spent all that money. It has to be redone i brought it to another shop. It is going to now cost me well over $5000. I should have done this sooner but everytime i called i felt like they did Not want to help me or be bothered. I cannot afford to replace This again. I wish they would have done the right thing from the beginning. I had a year warranty and brought it back right before it was going to expire and was still told truck was fine when it was not.

The transmission was done in November of 2022 and was brought back for our 500 mile check to make sure everything was working properly. Upon that check the vehicle was operating fine. The vehicle was then brought back in January of 2023 due to a leak. At that time vehicle had ***** miles on it. We then notice the transmission cooling lines were leaking and transmission was almost out of fluid. Transmission cooling lines is not part of the work done to the vehicle. We replaced the lines and filled the transmission. All seemed to be operating fine. Vehicle was then brought back in October of 2023 for a recommended yearly tune up. At this time the vehicle had ****** miles on it since we rebuilt the transmission. We did the service on the vehicle and all was good. If the vehicle is having issues we are more than happy for her to drop it with us to further look at it. We will work with her the best we can as long as it is not extremely over warrantee. We have been in business for 43 years and do whatever we can to help our customers with their issues. We do everything we can to make sure our product lasts as long as it is taken care of.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because my transmission was redone here 1 1/2 years ago and has been slipping and sputtering. It was never resolved. It always got stuck in 3rd gear. My husband would try telling them something was wrong but we were told it drives great. I am stuck with my truck needing another transmission and out $3800.00. I just do not think this is ok. This should never have happened. This should have lasted. I understand being in business for that long but i also noticed i am not the only person who feels like the job was not done the correct way. I do not think it is ok that I have to get this fixed for the 2nd time in less then two years.

I went to delta transmissions to diagnose a problem with my transmission. They told me they could only diagnose the problem by taking out the transition. They told me the cost of taking the transmission out, diagnosing the problem, and putting the transmission back would be $980. After they took the transmission out they said the cost of repair would be $3,500. I couldnt pay that so I told them to put the transmission back and Id pay the $980. They refused to put the transmission back because it needed repairs. I said I cant pay for the repairs there but they refused to put it back regardless. They then told me the cost would change from $980 to $1,500. I told them Ill only pay half the original cost because they only did half the work and they paid the price but they started a problem. I tried to make a deal with them and just let them keep the car which is worth around $1,000 but they still wanted me to $500, which is again more than the original price. They held my car and the belongings I had in the car hostage even though thats illegal. I tried going in person to resolve the issue and they started insulting me, my father in law, and my girlfriend. We never signed anything so they just kept raising prices. When we requested to view the work order they only showed it to us for a second and then they ripped it away. I had to call the cops and the police mediated the situation but they still havent given me my belongings back which again is illegal. The belongings in the car are separate from the job. This place has multiple bad reviews on ****** and help having similar/identical problems. This needs to be addressed. We filed a police report and we have it if necessary.

When the vehicle was dropped off we told the customer that we were diagnosed the vehicle to find out if it was an internal or external problem with the transmission. We do that part for free. After finding out it was an internal problem we called the customer and told them it had to come out and come apart to find the problem for $995. Which that is the labor that would also be applied towards the job plus whatever parts we needed. The customer then authorize the $995 labor to remove and dismantle the transmission on 8/14/23 at 12:55pm by *******************. The customer was also told that a soft parts overhaul on the transmission would be $1895 plus hard parts. Upon authorization we took the transmission out and apart and found multiple problems internally wrong with the transmission. The cost of the repairs for a complete rebuild transmission and torque converter everything guaranteed for one year or ****** miles parts and labor complete came to $3495. The customer refuse the job saying they did not have enough money. So we then told them they would all the $995 plus tax which came out to $1080.12. This was the labor that they had authorized to take the transmission out and apart. They then stated that they also would not be able to afford that but had went out and bought another vehicle. In the end we wind up settling on them signing over the vehicle and pay $250. They had called the police but after speaking with the police they were instructed to pay the deal we had in place. We tried to do the best we could to satisfy them but it didnt seem that would be the case. We have been here for ********************************************************** the door.
