1) when zoning the ***** **** has still not installed one of the zone controllers and the zone is untested 2) **** did not followed through on the town permit application filed with the city''s request for a Manual J.3) The system **** installed may be inadequate. The heat is inadequate on cold days. The system has to be vet with a credible Manual J.4) The **** unit **** installed does not work on cold days. The thermostat does not shut off.These have to be rectified and **** liable for the cost of finishing the work.I have been trying to reach *************************. I have a constant spread of emails from repeating the same list of things **** keeps ignoring. **** has also not been taking calls over the last year. I have to call **** many times a day and when he picks the calls up, of late, **** responds back nastily asking me to find another contractor to complete the work.Business response

In response to the BBB complaint, we acknowledge the challenges faced during ******'s home renovation, primarily driven by multiple layout changes made solely by ****** without prior notification to Perfect Air Solutions. The initial ductwork installation had to be reworked due to the revised layout, with the master bedroom and kitchen ending up at opposite ends, necessitating the relocation of trunk lines and supplies. Thermostat locations were also modified multiple times, and other contractors installed a Nest thermostat on the office PTAC unit, not within our scope of responsibility. Furthermore, a separate company installed a steam humidifier, which we were asked to connect. While we maintain our policy of not handling equipment not installed by us, we are open to installing the Infinity Zone Control and providing the Manual J if it's currently in stock.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The layout changes **** referred to were necessary due to a architecture change. The changes **** refers to were accomplished in a day or two. The Neat thermostat **** referenced was installed by his crew. The humidifier was mounted by me in an effort to speed up work for to ***** unresponsive was over an year and half.
At This point, I do not wish for **** to perform any more work at this property. At a great cost, I have hired another firm to complete the work **** abandoned. Ever since, I have learn of **** installing mismatched equipment at premium cost and performing suboptimal installations like venting the hvac into a chimney.
