08/24/21 I paid a $550 deposit to this florist for my wedding date of 06/16/22. Krysta S**** advised she would send a contract immediately once the funds were received. She advised she received the funds and failed to send the contract. She continuously ignored my attempts to reach out for a contract for a month. She never checked in to finalize details for my wedding. I explained that it was too stressful working with her because I felt my wedding was not in good hands as the communication was so poor. She refused to refund the deposit.Business response

Business relayed to BBB:She requested her deposit back due to her thinking their was poor communication between us which is pretty subjective. According to her I did not sign the contract in time. I had advised her I was in the hospital. I did provide her with a signed contact after I had gotten out of the hospital. She booked with me two years ago. We were months and months away from the wedding. As per the contact all refund are non-refundable. I believe she found a cheaper price. I will not be giving her a refund.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not find a cheaper price, I maintained our business relationship until the point where I no longer felt comfortable, it was difficult to find another florist 6 months out from the wedding so the price I will have to pay is much higher, a total of 4K. If the owner believes we were so far out from the wedding that communication was not imperative then why can’t you issue my refund? It is clear no flowers have been ordered yet and no work has been done regarding my wedding at this point on your end. It is unfair to keep such a large amount of money. I even advised that I would take a partial refund due to the inconvenience. The time spent in the hospital was separate from the time that elapsed between when the payment was made and when I should have received the document. Regards, ****** ******
