My 2012 ***** CX-9 went in for auto body repair at Pine Plains Auto Body. After a few weeks and several phone calls myself to the shop checking on the status of the car, I received a phone call from *********************** on 4/5/22 in fact he left a voicemail stating, "got the car all set" when in fact only about half of the job was completed based on the insurance companies estimate. I was told by *********************** when I went in to pick up what I thought would be my car completed that, "I figured you needed your car back." I had a rental car and that I had already had for more than the 8 days that it was stated in the estimate it would take to complete the work. In fact, I had it just about double the time the estimate said. Pine Plains Auto Body collected the first check of $4,220.63 that was dated for 3/24/22 and then contacted the insurance company for an additional $2,512.33 and that check was dated 3/25/22 for additional parts needed. Months have gone by, and the car still has not been completed, even after several visits and phone calls speaking to *********************** each time. The response I keep getting is that we will call you to get the car in to be finished. Pine Plains Auto Body is holding up the sale of my car and ***** has been told this on more than one occasion. It is now 8/29/2022 and the car is still not completed after several phone calls and visit attempts trying. According to the insurance company the claim is closed, and Pine Plains Auto Body stated the work was complete, when in fact it still hasn't been completed. I have tried a number of times and have been more than patient with ***** at this point.Customer response
