              Recently I received a letter in the mail from Maximus Human Services notifying me that my personal information has been compromised due to a data breach. "Maximus, a service provider for ********** ********** ** ***** ******** ****** and a contractor that provides appeals services in support of the ******** Program on behalf of ***, detected unusual activity in its ****** application. The incident involved a security vulnerability in the ****** software, a third-party application which allows for the transfer of files during the ******** appeals process." I am not familiar with the company and have no affiliation to ********** ********** ** ***** ******** and am not eligible for ********. I have no idea who this company is or how they received my personal information. I tried contacting them on multiple occasions via phone and email and they will not respond to my questions. I want to know how they have my information, what information they have, and how long they have had it. I did not consent to any sharing of my personal information and am looking for answers to this scam.

              If I could give less stars I would!! This company should be shut down. I called them 4 days last week and would be on hold for 30 mins to an hour with no one picking up. Even got up at 5AM Ca time to call them. Left message to call me back and no one did until 7 days later and then they are still no help. I was just on the phone with a lady and I was explaining to her the issues that I have had and that she needs to let someone know and she put me on hold while I was speaking. RUDE!!!! They are so unprofessional and lack customer service. They don't seem to care at all how they treat people. Shame on them!

              I spoke with Ms. ***** via email on 6/1/2022 and explained the processes and procedures in place and what the next steps to resolve concerns regarding her appeal were and supplied the forms to appeal to the next level of review.
