Please find attached letter of complaint for full details to 7/6/2023 and other supporting documents 1. Bad Communication-We have expressed our simple needs and concerns, only to be ignored or told no. 2. Doesn't advocate for our interest- These agents/manager/broker have put their needs and desires before ours. 3. Doesn't understand the market or area to which the property located. 4. Poor Marketing- Limited exposure. Listing description/features were incomplete, incorrect, misleading and vague. 5. Personality Clash - Agents displaying desire to control and manipulate listing and us. 6. Unprofessional 7. Unethical Behaviors- Many violations of the code of ethics Since then, we have made several more pleas to be released from the listing agreement. Last week (see emails) we ask for a copy of the signed listing agreement, which we did receive, encouraged, we again asked to be released this time were told if we paid a fee of $1200. Shocked we then asked for a breakdown of charges and paid receipts. That request went unanswered, so we reached out and offered to pay for the photography, we researched it and found the median for that service was $230. This offer was flatly refused. Oddly later that afternoon we would receive an email request for a showing from Mr. Whitbeck, this would only be our second showing since being on the market then over 30 days. With the listing receiving high view and saves, this naturally did not set right with us Mr. Whitbeck is still controlling the information of the requests by not having added us as a contact though it is something we have asked for several times. We do not trust nor desire to be represented by this business, they have done nothing good in our eyes but caused us delay and harm, the added emotional and physical stress this has caused upon my 86-year-old mother especially. Additionally, the Lake Placid office is now closed, removed from their website. This does seem to support what is mentioned in 2d. Letter of Complaint
