I purchased a vendor booth back on September 28th, 2021 for the ******* ***** ********* * ****** ***** I paid for and received confirmation for Booth #**, inside the main Event center, but upon arrival for the day of the show on November 26th I was shown to booth number 215 - outside of the event center by a teenager volunteer who could not help me. Deborah Kessler was nowhere to be found to complain before the show started, and since the booth looked as though it was in a decent location - flanked by doors leading into the main event center, we decided to go ahead and do what we had to. When the show started, the doors to the main event center were locked shut, forcing people to look at 200+ vendors before even arriving to our booth. By the time customers arrived, they were overstimulated and ready to beeline straight to the exit. We struggled to engage with customer after customer, but people were hot and tired from being herded through the overcrowded event center. They didn’t even know there were vendors outside. I have confronted Deborah face-to-face and asked why I was moved, but she said she would email me about it. She never did, so I emailed her asking for a refund since I didn’t get what I paid for and barely made enough to cover my vendor fee - and lost out on potentially thousands of dollars in sales that would have occurred had I received the spot I was confirmed for. Other vendors inside the event claimed it was their best year and made thousands! I made barely over $400 for the entire weekend. I have still yet to receive any sort of communication or even a simple apology for my booth being given away and missing out on sales. I am severely disappointed in the entire experience and feel as though both times I have tried to communicate with her I have been brushed off and ignored.
